Salsitas Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

Came here to get some food, and apparently, if we aren't a darker shade of Mexican, our money isn't good enough. We waited in line, and they ignored us, told us to wait, and helped the darker shade of my Mexico amigo. The lady tried to back pedal and then just shut herself up after realizing that I spoke Spanish, she had no rebuttal to her actions. The most racist people I've ever known have been my own people, and she was very unapologetic. Disgusting behavior, and I'm looking forward to exposing her behavior and the company that endorses this way of thinking on social media. Another negative review to a growing collection of 1-star experiences. Highly recommend staying away. Food and performance are always below average. Self-hatred racism is a unique seasoning that isn't always favored, especially in business. I do hope they correct this behavior and give themselves an opportunity to be successful and not another franchise that shuts down due to many layers of poorly conducted business practices. I would not recommend this salsitas at all. They are straight stealing money from people by advertising 1 price which will be up to $2 an item from what they charge you in a receipt and on top of that they charge .50 to use your card. All of this without saying a word to you. And instead of owning up to their mistake of advertising a different price than actually is they have an attitude and act like it’s your own fault and try to tell you it’s because they just switch their prices today and they haven’t changed the price on the menu. Which is a lie. And their corporate is just as cold and dismissive as their staff. The General manager Carla did not care and literally said she was too busy to deal with this. She has other things to do. Mine you I don’t go to a salsitas for high end service but minimum if not telling me 1 price and asking for my card and then handing me a receipt with a total different price is ridiculous and feels like straight fraud. They know what they are don’t too. They prob making so much money this way off of people. If you decide to go here. Pay close attention to your money. Or just go to rodibertos, they show more expensive prices but Atleast you know what you are paying for. And the food...

So I’m just telling everyone to watch out for any roaches and different critters. I literally bought two tacos this morning, and when I was about to take a bite out of one, a roach came out of my tortilla. It was the nastiest thing that I have ever seen in my food. I go back right away and tell her what was in my food and she said do you want me to remake your food? I replied no thank you I would just like to have my money back. She did give me my money and apologized. I’ve been coming here for years. It’s a big disappointment I know and understand accidents happen, but there is literally no reason why a cockroach should be inside of your food even more alive and still Kickin I’m very disappointed with them.
