As I sat on chair quietly minding my business I was harassed and accosted by weight challenged disrespectful good ole boy Paul blart top flight security of the world want a be 2 bit rent a cop security guard. He spoke to me as if I was the scum of the earth he berated me for sitting to charge my phone. He should not be dealing with the public in a public space if he has problems with people of color. He wanted me to respond to him as if he were MY superior my only superior is god he himself and the degradation and implication that I was mentally disabled because I did not respond to him because I had headphones on is outrageous and despicable he should not be around kids or people and I fear for the public with this “man” on duty . Oh I am so glad that this place reopened. It is like a little haven, I always feel safe here. I do not own a printer so it has always been more convenient to come here. Also it is just nice to jump on their computers they operate so smoothly here. The bad reviews are definitely left by deliquents who can't follow simple rules. If you get a letter saying you are not following the rules then you probably aren't doing something right. I have never experienced that. Library staff consistently harrasses patrons. I see other people violate these "standard of conduct", yet multiple times I am the only one in sight given a print out as a reminder. I find this unacceptable. If these standards are held for all then don't harrass 1 persons with print out reminder. I am a Master Degree student who is finishing his last classes working on his PHD next. This is supposed to be the one "Library" near me. I fully accepted responsibility if my items are stolen especially when I step away to use the restroom. The staff here is not nice to academic students. I know I worked in Library first few...
