Flaming Wok — Restaurant in Phoenix

When I first came here, there was no line. The two employees were talking to each other, and I had gotten the three combo meal which should’ve been 12 something alone. As shown on the screen, the lady decided to put a lot of orange chicken and only a little bit of the teriyaki. The orange chicken taste very soft and robbery & The teriyaki was pretty good. The noodles were very rubbery as well does not taste cooked all the way. However, the cheese wontons were pretty good except they tasted very sweet. I don’t know what it is inside but it’s very different than other Chinese spots. And I got a Coke bottle which was 350 and when I opened it it was very flat so my bill ran up to $21. They also over priced the guy in front of me. Claiming it was because of the tax. My problem with this place is they have one thing with the prices on it and then when you get to the register it’s a different price and I understand you have to add the tax but you need to let them know ahead of time or you just need to put with tax on the board already so that way we know what...

Flaming Wok is like a Desert Sky Mall staple. You know how Curacao and Dillard's are like anchor stores? Well Flaming Wok is the anchor restaurant of the food court. It's been there the longest and still going strong because the food is delicious! The Bourbon chicken is a classic meat and goes well on lo mein if you want a recommendation. The orange rice is also really tasty and has some zest to it. Goes well with steamed rice.

There is one downside though and that's the plexiglass that they put up during the pandemic. It was a good idea and shows you how they really care about their business, but communication to order has gotten difficult. You have to speak through a squawk-box that you will need to raise your voice up in order for them to hear you, but it's difficult at times to hear their responses ti ensure they got the order right. If you're hard at hearing, you might have a difficult time. Overall it's great service and great food, so it is worth the hassel. I do recommend coming on a weekday because you will see longer lines on...

Too expensive now last time i went plate was like 8-ish now its almot $12 per plate.. and the food doesn't taste them same.. they lost their flavor.. plus they serve u less now then before.. i WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.. the lady at check out is SUPER RUDE she always has an attitude.. when she was checking me out she said something i didnt understand her (since she had a mask and sometimes u cant hear in these things) and i told her sorry i couldnt hear u and she rolled her eyes at me.. i asked her for a drink and she rolled her eyes again.. she just stretched her hand for my card and moved her fingers up and down so i can give her my payment.. she was also super rude to my mom..
