Manor — Local services in Phoenix

BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM THIS STORE- ESP. ONLINE. I have never had a worse customer service experience. I ordered a pair of shoes that I have been looking for for a long time and was so excited to get them. They finally arrive and they are too big, I would have been happy to exchange them but the store does not carry this shoe anymore and doesn’t have my size.

I asked to return the shoes for a refund because I can’t get the shoe I want and they are refusing to give me a refund. The shoes are unworn and just were delivered today and I can’t return them. All the owner said on the phone was "store policy," unapologetically.

I have never dealt with a store with such poor customer service and if I could leave no stars, I would. I have not heard of a store in this day in age where you can’t return an unworn item that was just delivered and doesn’t fit. They care less about keeping a customer happy and wanting to make sure they keep their $170 bucks. Wishing I read the other reviews before I purchased anything here.

Where to begin. Manor could very well be the coolest shop that Phoenix has to offer. Being a native to the valley, there is no better feeling than supporting a local establishment like Manor. Seeing their success over the last couple of years is not surprising at all because their staff is always extremely welcoming and helpful whether looking for a sneaker size, shirt size, (or in the case from my visit today) encouraging me to buy a new golf glove. My wife and I visit Manor at least once a week because they are always bringing in new inventory and every time we come, we feel like part of the Manor family, being able to get to know more of the staff and their stories. Today specifically I met Laura and Pops, and I just want to say thank you both for just being genuine good people. Long story longer, Manor rocks; and their range of sneakers, apparel, and swiftly growing golf collection is second to none! Whether you are a local looking to support local, or if you are visiting the desert and want to see what Phoenix retail has to offer, Manor should be stop #1 for you....

I've purchased a few pairs of shoes from these folks, and service has always been great. Nice shop, cool shoes (for kids, not serious adults). But there is a young lady who hopefully won't be working there when you go. I tried to buy shoes for my daughter in light of our past good experiences, but if you don't want to deal with the youthful too cool for school attitude prevalent with today's youth, avoid the store if she's working. We stood right in front of her with a shoe in hand for a few mins, and she didn't even look at us. Admittedly, she was on the phone, but no eye contact, no acknowledgement we we were there, nothing. We decided to leave, we were ready to purchase. Well buy online from someone else. She doesn't own the place, so she could probably care less. This is a nice area, and people expect good service, like we received the first two times we purchased there. This may seem frivolous, but I think established people deserve a bit better service, at least basic acknowledgement...
