I’ve been coming to this Garnicería for over 16–17 years, and it has always been an incredible experience. The store is clean, well-organized, and consistently stocked with fresh meats, quality produce, and delicious prepared foods. The owners are kind, helpful, and really care about the community they serve.

I’ve noticed some negative reviews lately, and honestly, I just don’t get it. Many complaints seem to come from people who have never even stepped inside—why call and judge over the phone when you can walk in and see how great it really is?

I’ve personally seen people from all backgrounds shop here, including many white/Caucasian customers, and I’ve never witnessed any kind of racism or discrimination. Everyone is treated respectfully, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

The chicharrones? Always on point. The meat is fresh, the produce section is great, the bakery never disappoints, and the aguas frescas are always refreshing. I even remember a moment when my son was sick—I spoke to a sweet older lady shopping there who gave me a traditional tea recipe that actually helped him feel better. That kind of community connection is something you can’t put a price on.

Not a good place ! Had such a bad experience that I had to call the cops and that's how the issue was solved ! Ordered a cake 1 week before birthday party , order was paid in full so that day I could just come in and pick up the cake .one week later when picking up the cake I had my receipt and everything i was told the cake was not made . I was upset but understood I was 30 min from the party starting and just needed any cake at this point . They had ready to go cakes but they refused to give me one of those . i asked to speak to the manager and the manager refused to give me my money back or another cake . even though I had my receipt and bank statement that had time and date of what I paid one week prior he refused and said I could have written paid myself . I asked for yo check the cameras and laughed and walked away . That when I got upset and called the cops so I could have an i between person to help me solve the issue because he was refusing to do Andy thing ! It was 65 dollars that I had paid for the cake . At this point it was not the money it was the fact that he was rude and was not willing to give me another cake or money back even though I had my receipt and prong that I had paid and the cake was not made ! I've been a client for more than 10 years, but after my experience today I will never go back. I walked in with my face mask and was disappointed to see the staff staring and snickering to one an other, then coughing loudly, and repeatedly saying 'Corona'. When I went to the butcher for meat, he continously said he 'couldn't hear me' and only after I took my mask off did he attend me, despite me raising my voice more than once. Not only were they rude, and unprofessional but ignorant and disrespectful for making fun of someone whose simply trying to protect themselves.
