Purchased a couch for a rarely used room from this 'shop'. We noticed a small red marking but were assured by the sleazy salesman that this is the only blemish. I was shopping with someone else and we were both told by the 'salesman' that this would not spread and we would not see additional damage in this area. Flat out, the salesman lied to both of us. We both heard and remember his lies clearly, so please take that into account when dealing with this store.

The salesman seemed to be in a huge hurry to have us pick up the couch, but agreed that we could come by the next day (we now realize that he was in such a hurry to have us pick it up because the peeling arm was going to continue no matter what we did). Upon pickup, the couch was not cared for and was outside, not inside of the shop, which, in hindsight should have raised flags that it wasn't cared for once he had a few bucks in his pocket.

We picked up the couch, placed it in the spare room, and went out of town the next day for several weeks to spend time with a family member in a cooler climate who was recently diagnosed with cancer and having surgery.

When we returned, the couch, which was untouched, indoors, not exposed to the sun or any elements, was massively peeling. It's unclear how this could have happened, as the 'furniture professional with years of experience' ensured both of us this would not happen. Additionally, we inspected a bit more to find significant damage and multiple filthy tears on the couch. While we understand this wasn't a new product, the store had strategically placed signs on the couch covering damage and had organized and presented the cushions in a way that the additional damage wasn't visible!

We immediately contacted the shop, and naturally, the salesman was of little help, although, bizarrely, we were offered a $100 check, a fraction of the cost of the couch. I guess he realized what a piece of trash he sold us and felt bad? Who knows (we did not accept.

Ultimately, looking back our experience was dreadful. Most of the products they sell appear to have been garbage picked or bought at goodwill and marked up to a premium.

Clearly I would caution anyone from shopping at this store, and surely what the 'salesman' says is to be vetted by a professional. Phoenix has many good consignment shops and unfortunately this isn't one of them.

We looked around at a lot of over priced furniture and items. On top of that what really upset me was the way they treated a situation at their store. We walked around left and came back after seeing an item outside we liked. we asked what we were supposed to do if we wanted an item. The cashier said to pull the tag off the item hold onto it & bring it up when we are ready to pay. At that point we pulled the outside tag off the item and kept walking around to look one last time. We saw this grill and my husband pulled the tag to take up front. These other people came over to the grill and saw that we took the tag. They then went to the cashier and complained because they had been talking to the cashier about the grill but never pulled the tag. The cashier walked over to us & told us we needed to give her the tag because they were buying the grill. I explained that she told us if we wanted anything we needed to pull the tag, which we did but now we had to let the other people buy it.
