I recently recently wanted to get my old college stereo system up and running again. Technics SA 5370 am/fm Stereo receiver and a technics SL220 Turntable. After a bit of research on vintage stereo repair, I went to SoundWorks vintage audio. I met Phil and the rest of the crew. I knew I’d pick the right place to do the repairs on nearly 50-year-old equipment. I needed a new set of speakers Also and Phil showed me a pair of vintage JBL L100s vintage 1970s that blew me away. I went back the following day and made the decision to purchase the speakers. Well, Phil was helping me with the speakers. The tech crew informed me that my receiver and turntable were both done and ready to roll. Everything had been cleaned and serviced and gone over to make sure was working properly. We test drove it in the shop. I could not believe That this was 47 year old equipment coming back to life. Sounded amazing. I can’t say enough about Phil and his crew. These guys are wizards with audio. They have such a huge knowledge base and basically any part you could need. The shop has my highest recommendation. And the top off the unbelievably fantastic service, The cost of the repairs and the speakers Was phenomenal. Go see Phil and his crew, they will take great...
Read moreThey did a great job with finding a product for my budget and giving me ideas for what they can build for me. After they were done installing the new speakers and subwoofer, the sound quality was amazing! A huge upgrade compared with what I had before. The only problem I had with them was the wait time. They quoted me 3 hours but I ended up waiting 6 hours. It also made me a little frustrated watching other customers come in after me and have there cars finished before mine. I understand installing new speakers and a subwoofer is a lot of work and can be hard to give an exact amount of time it should take, but a 3 hour difference is a little to much for me. Besides the wait I was very happy with there work. If I ever need any other audio upgrades to my car, This is the place I will go, but next time I will remember to double the wait time of what...
Read moreLast Christmas my husband thought he was doing a nice thing by having a car alarm installed for my car, very sweet, however the alarm randomly goes off and has kept me awake all night going off every 20 minutes!! I took it in and said just disarm it!! I don't need an alarm!! Turn it off!! They pulled it around the side and said ok I disarmed the alarm but left the lock and unlock feature on, sounds good so you can imagine my surprise when the alarm randomly went off again a week or so later!!!!! So did he NOT disarm as I requested??? My husband took my car in the second time, they told him he needed the receipt, I don't know why they couldn't look in their computer system and find him, it was charged to his credit card!!! It STILL goes off!!! It woke me up just yesterday morning at 4am!!! ...
