4.5 stars imo. I really like the ambience and style here. I ordered an al pastor burrito and asada taco. The meat was good. The burrito seemed like 2 ingredients. Meat and beans. Interesting choices, could have had more variety like beans rice guac and meat. They do have way more sides in the salad bar salsa area but adding stuff after it's rolled isn't great for burritos imo.

The asada meat was tender. Both green and red salsas were good. My real gripe is "al pastor" is meat shaved of a big block of meat that rotates on a stick. In this case is seems like it's a "quick" version where they dice up some ham and cook and season it. Not bad but not true crispy delightful al pastor. Many az restaurants do this and I have almost entirely switched to asada because of it. I did like the presentation, value for money and convenient location. I just can't rate your restaurant as 5 stars without real al pastor. Even with a carniceria a few feet away. Make it...

The tacos were delicious because I got to put what I wanted on each of my tacos.. The salsa bar was great. Kinda hard to do if you get the food to go because you have to use the small plastic containers for each salsa and pico and cabbage exedra.. You can choose flour or corn tortillas also. My BF prefers the taco to be covered in pico and cabbage so he can add the lime and salsa. Everyone is different.. He also tried the Hot dog wrapped in bacon and green chilies and loved it..like a Sonoran dog but called something else. The Sweet potato fries were awful.. Dark like burt but greasy and soft like they'd just been sitting in old oil. I would like to go back and try more things but won't be ordering sweet potato fries again. Tacos are 4 bucks each so you can always order a taco and try something else. They serve bottles of Beer and Cola. And also have a fountain drink station. They have ice cream bars in a cold freezer at the counter and flan...

Neet concept, but something is off. Friday night and 5 people in the restaurant. Food was good, priced fair. But once you place your order and receive your food, you're on your own. No friendly contact by employees, it's just different. Not nessesary bad. Probably not intended theyvway I would have liked it. More of a Scottsdale setting in the wrong neighborhood? The music playing was good, sounded great. Video screen of music videos. THEN, on comes Biden and talks about how Trump took womans abortion rights away, how Trump is a looser etc. While we ate our dinner on a Friday night, we were fed liberal democratic bull. I don't find that a friendly atmosphere regardless. They may be paid by liberals to be in business and spread their communism. Not for this veteran! Will...

Great little independent food joint. Variety of the menu is very nice: burgers, hot dogs, chicken...sandwiches/wings...and BBQ Ribs with "fall off the bone" meat... I think they are pork, not beef. Home made BBQ sauces they were so good I had to take some home. They don't actually "sell" the sauce as such so I gave them $3.00 to fill a cup! The atmosphere is fun! Colorful! The dining area is clean as are the restrooms. All in all a very fortunate and unexpected find that's not too far from my home. I Will be back! ============= Update Sat 1/20/2024 This is my 3rd visit (I TOLD you I would be back!) I wish I could post a review of the other menu items...but the truth is, the Rib Special is the only item I've eaten here! So... Just to let you know: Still Delicious...!
