If I could give this zero stars, I would.

This was the worst experience I have ever had from a server. To begin with, the busboy brought our silverware and menus out right away (A+). Then it went downhill from here...When our server, Aubrey, finally did show up, she asked us for our drink order and we told her were actually ready to order. This did not matter to Aubrey...she took our drink order and said she'd be back for our food order when she could write it down. Okay....she brought back our sodas and we order our burgers. Mine was ordered medium and my wife ordered hers well done.

Some time later when the food arrived, we asked for some sliced pickles....they never showed up until we asked the busboy to bring them to us. I guess Aubrey was too busy helping everyone else to get our measly pickles.

Now, I think well done has a universal meaning of cooked all the way through. Aubrey may have had the chance to fix this if she ever stopped back by to check on us, but she did not.

During this time, we observed Aubrey checking on other patrons but we somehow escaped her attention. I was tempted to ask her what we did to upset her but she never came back to our table.

We finally flagged her down to get our check, it took way too long to prepare. To give you an idea of how bad the service was, the bill was $24.82, I left $25.

I asked to speak to the manager and David came out and introduced himself as the owner and I explained to him what had happened. He introduced his wife to me and asked her to get me a gift card for the amount of my check. He was extremely apologetic about the service we received.

A few minutes later I was out the door with my gift card (which I did not want in the first place).

My wife was waiting outside (that's how upset she was) and when I told her what had happened, she took the gift card and was going to return it to him and let him know that's not what we wanted.

As we were walking back in, we spotted a homeless gentleman and offered the gift card to him as we had no intention of EVER returning.

My wife went in to explain to the owners what she had done with the gift card and the homeless gentleman followed us in and was going to order some food.

We left and as we were pulling out the parking lot, the homeless man informed us that David had taken the gift card away from him and told him it was not valid and that if he didn't leave he was going to call the police.

Wow....really? Unbelievable...we will never return and I sincerely hope anyone reading this will think twice before patronizing an establishment that treats...

Casey Jones is basically a hole in the wall sports/grungy dive bar with no real identity. It had a full bar of day drinkers and maybe 5 tables in use (including me) with a full staff. It's overpriced for what it is. However, relatively average priced overall for each menu item. It has a grungy (but very clean) look and vibe. My waitress (haley) made no attempt to introduce herself and was somewhat incompetent at best. I asked for a pitcher of ice water. I got a pitcher of cold-ish water with a few cubes of ice and a straw. No cup/glass, nothing. I had to ask her what her name was and for napkins and a glass. The fries were good, only slightly salty (just the way I personally liked them), but even then, the water was actually the best part of my lunch. I got a rueben sandwich with a light thousand island dressing and no saurkraut. Ther was actually NO thousand island on it, and i had to ask for a side. It's made with house roasted corned beef on grilled rye bread. The sandwich was barely hot at all when i got it, and the rye bread was flavorless. The house roasted corned beef was salty and salty, with extra salt and very little meaty flavor. There was so much oil and fat that the bread was soggy after about 1 minute. The fries were lukewarm at best. Within 3 minutes, the fries were stone cold and flavorless. However, they never lost their crispness. (That's good, at least). The baseball game was so loud that even with bose and quiet comfort earbuds 2 on, I could barely hear myself think. Even listening to an audiobook at a higher volume than normal, I could still hear the game loud and clear. None of the staff could hear me from 5 feet away, even when i was practically yelling at them. I must have tried to get someone's attention at least 5 times and even had one person look me right in the eye from across the room and ignore me as I gestured for h him to come over. I finally had to get up and walk over to my server, just to ask for the check. With the horrible service and subpar (at best) food, they still had the audacity to suggest tip amounts. (15% 18%, and 20%)Including tax, it was $17 for a dining experience that was at best horrible and at worst overbearingly loud with a side smell of vomit. The bathroom was disgusting and vomit-inducingly smelly. 2 out of 10 and no thank you on a revisit. (Also, the wifi didn't work, and I couldn't get a data signal...

The food is amazing all of the meat is steroid free and antibiotic-free true USDA beef order the John Henry hamburger and ask for two sides of extra sauce and pour all over the burger it is amazing and they serve all their burgers and sandwiches with true Wisconsin cheese not to mention they were on Channel 5 News the other night for being on the Dean's List for the cleanest Kitchen in Phoenix I found this place about 4 weeks ago it's a Green Bay Packer bar and Grille mostly a Grille though family-oriented very very nice people there and they have beautiful trains on the ceiling going round and round the service is amazing the waiters are great and the people there are very very nice don't be afraid to go there if you're not a Green Bay Packer fan I am a die-hard 49er fan but I respected Green Bay dynasty of great coaches and great owners and great quarterbacks 49er fans hate all teams besides Green Bay because we have the same history and huge screens throughout the Grille a lot of people from the Midwest go there that are just down-to-earth people that are very nice my daughter and I and my wife used to go to Islands Burger at the Desert Ridge Mall and they charged a lot more for burgers that are nowhere near as good the prices are great the onion rings are out of this world I hate onions and their onion rings I love so in closing if you want to go to a great place with great food with great people with great service and a great atmosphere you must go to Casey Jones I promise you it will become one of your favorite...

Oh man, finally got our "Casey Jones" back. We went in Saturday 5/16/20 and ordered our go to, "Chicken Strip Basket" tossed in Wing sauce and OMG they were delicious. It seems like forever since we last had it due to the lockdown. We are glad they are back open & hope everyone at CJ is doing ok. UPDATE: Visited our go to Sport’s Bar & Grill 1/25/24 as we just returned from a trip to 🗣️Omahaaa!!! (Steak’s) and missed CJ’s. Mrs. General had the Honey Hot Chicken Strip’s & Frie’s & I had the Cheese Steak & Fries. These were so good. We have been coming here for over 20 yrs & it’s still so good. Yes, it looks like a dive outside as it’s in an old Strip Ctr, but it’s big inside & the staff are great. This is a Greenbay Packer’s & U of Wisconsin hang out on game days if your a fan & it gets packed. They do show all sports. If you play the ponies they have OTB ( Off Track Betting) in a separate section. Trains & a Trolly run on tracks hanging from the ceiling. I would suggest the two items I mentioned in this review plus their Burgers & Pizza. Thank CJ’s & Staff.

The chick behind the bar apparently doesn't like single women at her bar. When I wasn't ignored I was barely acknowledged with a word or two. Very curt and really clear that I was a bother. Never felt more unwelcomed any where. I literally watched as couples and others that were not women or were with friends sat at the bar and were greeted with a smile as they sat down. Got their drinks and had menus in hand quickly, very much unlike I experienced. Food is pretty good but don't come here if you are alone and female, or if you do don't sit at the bar. And then to top it off I was left unacknowledged for 15 min with an empty glass and had finished my meal which I was never asked how it was because she did not care...lol. Never again. Lesson learned.
