I used to work at this location so know for a fact we are supposed to be changing out our gloves everytime we make a burger, or at the register.. pretty much after every use. Me and my friends stopped early this morning, I want to say around 1... and the "team lead" and a lady I've never seen before were both just messing around... I had 2 cars in front of me for about 10 minutes, and by the time we got to the window there were cars behind us all the way to the drive thru sign. He handed us the drinks and took the money, handed us the receipt and change and then went to where they are making the burgers now, and actually happy they changed the location where they make the burgers because not only did he NOT change his gloves after handling the money but he kept turning to cover the food. We also noticed the lady, was standing over the food but after he gave us change they switched spots, she continued to laugh while looking at him and back to us like he was doing something wrong.. so my friends didn't trust it... this virus bs is still going on and he has the nerve not to change his gloves.... and then not only that, we told him we wanted our money back, and we were taking our money else were and he had attitude and when we told him the reasons why he said she was on her phone laughing.. as a team lead u should tell her to put her phone down and help, she isn't getting paid to be on her phone and you to do it all alone. Read moreThe only reason this whataburger is getting a 4 star and not a 1 star is because of the level of customer service the manager displayed. I believe his name was Luis ramirez (he deserves either a raise or another promotion). We ordered a couple combo meals and a burger and the chicken sandwich we received was disturbingly dark brown in color and the chicken was completely dry and chewy. We went back and the manager asked if I would like a refund or a fresh sandwich. I told him the fresh sandwich was fine he just wanted to make sure I was ok with the waiting time. I walked back out to my car and waited the 7 minutes and came back and the chicken was being pulled out of the fryer this time it looked golden brown. I waited another 5-7 minutes as the people in the kitchen ignored remaking the sandwich. When the manager came out of the office he asked the kitchen crew if they had made my sandwich. The kid in the back was like nope and the manager told him to make it. The kid made the sandwich finally and the manager brought it out and apologized. I get out to my car and hand my girlfriend the chicken sandwich because she was hangry and I didn't want all hell to break lose and she opened it up to find no tomatoes... XD at this point she's yelling so I had her go in and surprisingly she came back out and said the manager was awesome too. Read moreMy oh my, what a change. Last time I visited the food was ho hum, to not real good. So they have been off my rotation for awhile. But, 'K' wanted a patty melt and I gave in. First, the service was great. They were really busy on Friday night and they took my order in just a few minutes. The young man at the register knew how to make it work so all 4 orders (3 )custom were on the way in a flash. As I collected the drinks, I ran the dispenser out of tea. I let one of the servers know and she took my cup to the drive through to fill while another person refilled the dispenser, teamwork. Food out and the gentleman who took my order gathered up all of the bags, packed them into larger bags, took all the drinks and put them in a tray, then a bag to make carrying easier. He double checked the order to make sure it was right, Then he offered to walk the order out to the car. Bravo, double checked and 100% correct. Now the food, 'K's' Patty Melt, perfect, she loved it. 'A's' Grilled Chicken, excellent, the chicken breast was hot and juicy. My Double Cheese on Texas Toast, better that my last Dave's Double. If Whataburger can keep this up they'll move ahead of Wendy's on our rotation. Jersey Mikes should send their staff to Whataburger school, they can't ever...
