I recently attended a fantastic printmaking class taught by Olivia Yuen, an accomplished printmaking artist and educator. The class was held at Sunshine Craft Co, and it exceeded my expectations.

The class size was ideal, with around ten participants, including at least two children. This made for a perfect, intimate setting. Olivia is exceptionally talented and did a phenomenal job of keeping everyone engaged, regardless of age or skill level.

As someone who struggles with time estimates, I appreciated Olivia’s pacing and her ability to teach both children and adults. She guided us seamlessly from instruction to execution, making the whole experience enjoyable and educational.

Additionally, it was a pleasure chatting with Amy, the owner of Sunshine Craft Co. She deserves recognition for creating such a welcoming and inspiring space for creativity. Her dedication and passion for the craft community are evident, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have attended this class.

I really enjoyed crafting with Sunshine Craft Co! I have done 2 events with them - a private macrame workshop with my family where we made wall hangings, and a printmaking class in the studio. Both classes had a similar format: a little bit of instruction where the workshop lead describes and then demonstrates how to do something, but mostly it's hands-on crafting. All the materials are provided along with a sheet of instructions. Everyone is super nice. I do not consider myself crafty but I left both workshops with something I was very happy with! I met Amy at a fair and bought one of her craft kits. I was so excited. I LOVE to craft and have been looking for classes and community. My main craft is macrame and Sunshine Craft Co luckily had a class coming up. The class was amazing. She was so patient and is a great instructor. I didn't feel rushed and she kept running around to help anyone who needed it. Then I went to her craft n mingle community craft night. People bought various crafts to work on and hangout.
