UPDATE - just 10 days later, all nails have broken off.
Only go here if you are okay with getting super average nails. I cannot begin to express how bad my experience was- even when I got them done from the lady who seems to be the most senior.
Iām only and only giving one star for the very sweet girls in the salon, but the experience and the final outcome is beyond pathetic and probably the worst experience that Iāve ever had in Nails and mind you, Iāve had nails done the last five years. After 75$ and 2 full hours, I just wanted to leave and shrug it off. (If the owner is reading this, Iād really really like a refund).
To cut a very long story, short, they do not know how to file or put acrylics. The acrylic layer is SO thick, my fingers actually feel heavy. She expanded my nail bed width wise and my nails literally look chonky, thick and heavy. Throughout the experience, I was trying to calm down my anxiety because I had to remark on each and every single nail size and shape. For some nails, I had to take the filer myself and shape it properly. She just could not do an almond shape. These are the simplest nails to exist. Imagine.
If you see correctly, the thumb nail is oddly shaped and āsharperā than others because she puts acrylics so thick and wide that itās literally on my skin + lack of proper filing. She did this for other nails too and thatās how one of my fingers bled. The nail paint is off as well (the least you can do at a nail salon is apply the color properly!!!). She did 3 layers on my left thumb and 2 on right and it looks so off.
There are also gaps between my cuticles and the fresh set - something that happens by the end of week 1 - because the way she put in acrylics was just⦠wrong.
The experience and the result is NOT worth it. If I wasnāt leaving Phoenix tomorrow, Iād go down there to request...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll start with sayung, the staff is so nice, the place is always clean. I feel so comfortable when I go. I have only been to this place 3 times. The first time, my nails last 4 weeks, I went to Hawaii and a cruise wearing the same nails and not one issue. They lasted until I couldnāt stand the length anymore. It had to have been at least a full 4 weeks. The second time I went, I got the French on my nails like always. I didnt do a pedicure that time. They lasted a week before they started lifting and I had to add my own nail glue. I waited it out, 3 weeks later, which was last week, I went in again got a fill and a pedi, one of the nails just fell off. Just glued it back on. I went back thinking maybe that time was just an ooops, it happens. Well, now itās been twice. So sadly, Iām going to need to return to my other salon. I was excited because salon is within walking distance of my house so itās so convenient, but it seems the nails donāt last long enough for it to be worth the money. I tried it 3 times. I try to give every new place a few shots, you canāt always judge on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came here because of the great google reviews and I left so confused. I got my nails done here before leaving town. I wanted gel x nails, Iād never gotten them before but wanted to try because Iāve heard good things. And I got a pedicure.
It makes me sad to leave a bad review as Iāve worked in the beauty industry for a decade, but I literally cannot believe they let me walk out with my nails looking the way they did. Iām also mad at myself for even paying for them, thatās how unsatisfied I was.
The girls were sweet, but I donāt think they actually had time to do my nails. I think they were squeezing people in and rushing. Someone else jumped in to finish my pedicure half way through. Then a third person did my nails and they were atrocious. The nails were thick and uncomfortable and my cuticles were dry and crusty, because they hadnāt even been touched or fixed at all during the service. I went somewhere else the next day to have them removed. They were closed that day or else I would have had them remove and give me a refund before...
