Dog friendly front patio. Yay. Our Frenchie was very happy to join my hubby and I for our weekly date day. The staff was so welcoming and gave her the extra attention she needed to get accustomed to her very new surroundings.
The Bloody Mary in the resourceful custom pint glass was outstanding with a smoked string cheese stick, icy cold shrimp, quality Olive, and other charcuterie type offerings. We could have stopped at the portobello fries with queso and yummy house made ranch, but we didn’t. Maybe because we didn’t know when we’d be back again. So Hubby had the broasted chicken, and will also have it for lunch tomorrow. Please don’t dig in too quickly because it’s made to order and comes out piping hot. I had the turbo taco salad. What can I say my favorite cars have turbos in them and they are always in need of a little customization and repair. With that said, the Garage’s menu sticks to the Garage theme. When I go back with a group, it would definitely be a three on the tree that is ordered for my starter kit.
The only thing I would recommend is more protection from the sun and the Harley noise. Easily accomplished with a retractable awning or sun shade, or a wall of vining hops.
The service we had today was impeccable. Shane got at least 1000 steps in his cowboy boots busily meeting our higher Twin Cities expectations graciously.
We will be back to your puppy friendly patio, with our sweet little rescue dog Mr....
Read moreHow does someone confuse the junkyard burger with the kickdown burger. First time ordering, getting order wrong is reason to not ever go back. Was the only customer picking up food, incompetent staff!
Edit: Maybe you're correct and they are not incompetent, I should've worded more precisely. Inferior, inept, amateuriah.. would have fit more appropriately. And first should maybe have included an apology instead out of unprofessional attitude in which your reply is written.
Edit 2: downplaying a mistake with sarcasm is attitude. $15 for food, the order should be correct. You do not order off Amazon a computer and get an iPhone. Restaurants are in the customer service industry, so orders should be correct and not something completely different. I have worked in the customer service industry and I always double checked to make sure the customer got what is ordered. Not doing so is incompetence, plain and simple.
To anyone reading this review. Please read the other negative reviews they also speak of staff being rude and not evening having the decency to get one customer a paper receipt. Who knows what else goes on at this place that is not on reviews.
Edit 3: If you are wondering why many edits, those were responses to the owner, who has deleted her comments. You know they were in the wrong and have bad service when the owner cannot even back up what her response...
Read morePros: Beautiful Facility and great location in Pine City. Cons: Literally everything else. It's six bucks for a Busch Light equivalent. I mean, come on. This was clearly put together my an investor who expects to draw a profit within the first few months, and is pricing his menu accordingly. Unfortunately, the caliber and quality of the menu barely warrants a third of the actual cost. And to whoever said the staff was friendly, was hugely paid off by someone internally trying to cover up the fact that the guy behind the bar is a massive jerk. Some of the servers are kind enough, but they certainly aren't good. It hasn't been open long enough for them to know the menu well enough for someone to say that. The food is overcooked, under-seasoned and uninspired. Look, I was rooting for this place and I've tried it three times. I have low standards, and high exposure being from Clearwater, living in St. Paul and having frequently traveled the world. I've had great experiences at crammed, greasy counters, and crummy ones at crystal chandelier-ed, white glove establishments. This place is overpriced, staffed poorly and nothing on the menu begs...
