....I enjoy convenience but only in certain situations as it has the tendency to shut down a natural approach in some situations...so when I and my Son were packing our items while livingin St Pete, the choice to use Life Storage closet to us at 4495 49th St N was a simple decision being I still had a unit in Tampa and my experience with them was good. Originally the type of unit we wanted wasn't available. I'd spoken to the young man at the time who stated he'd keep an eye out for what we desired and let us know...well...some months later, he did just that. My Son transferred the items to the new unit and we were more satisfied. It would only be a few months later that a merger would take place and I would meet the face of disappointment due to my past experiences with the new company with a NY location. Being forced to move on with an open mind, I had a bit of a situation regarding the system set up for Extra Storage Space and the new mgr, Paul, brought ease to me in the matter. Now...I have to say...in talkin with Paul via phone...I wasn't sure about some simple situations due to having my past experiences up front for me from the NY location...and i know I can approach a situation in a hard manner but when I spoke to him in person all of that fell away with just one face to face meet...I can say this...Paul is a stand up man, kind, understanding, and straightforward as well about the business of his position. Honesty and a realistic approach to assist a customer is what one will certainly receive speaking with him. Don't come short sided or you'll miss out on the ease of what he can offer and where he can assist. Thank you Paul always...you changed my thoughts on Extra Storage Space as a business moving forward and for this...I'm deeply appreciative of you...my best you and yours...and I ask that you meet great success with...

After having distressing experiences w/"Public Storage" I was leery of getting another unit, & Mum telling me the guys here were great wasn't rlly reassuring. Mum is pretty trusting & so sweet, people are normally kind & helpful. I'm from Boston, & while the comic wit is usually appreciated, the # of questions is an added degree of difficulty. It helps if I tell people "Just imagine I'm a "secret shopper". It could be a test, but it's just a challenge, lol." Kevin passed w/flying colors!🏆 He accommodated my questions, sweetened a deal on boxes, weathered my fast talking & loved my Grandmother's joke! & I'm not sure, but we may end up partnering on a new business model for the storage industry.💡 When a "business" centers around your life's treasures, memories & the security that your things are kept safe....the personal customer experience is make or break. Literally was here for over a year. Our storage got broken into. And mysteriously showed up in another unit. He said the guy moved out and they went to check and stuff was in it. But when I picked up a piece of mail with a different gentlemen name on it I ask if he was the one who moved out he said no.Paul tried to convince me and my fiancé that we were sleepy and placed it there. My fiancé went to drop off a bike rack at 10 in the morning not pick up stuff. They refused to show us footage which there was a camera right outside our unit! Paul has tons of excuses and try’s to make you seem like your crazy. I feel as though he was involved and I think we are going to go above him to the police and get this all fixed. Please do not rent here ever!! And if you do be sure to lock your storage because they pop it and take whatever they want.I also took pictures of our unit empty it was 398 just so you guys are aware there are...
