Have to share my experience. I'm very disappointed in my interactions at this store. So yes the prices are on the higher side but they're good quality items and for a great cause so I'm willing to go the extra mile for the feel good aspect. BUT I witnessed a veterans spouse get turned down for the discount. The guy behind the counter was polite, but to hear "it's only for the veteran" is a bit of a slap in the face and hits close to home. My father was in the USAF for 20 years. My mom may not have served in the actual military but who do you think took care of that veteran while he was protecting this young man and the rest of our country?! Every time my dad was tdy who took care of EVERYTHING, including the entire family, all on her own?! The veterans discount is great but you're really doing your store a disservice by limiting this. That woman that you denied may come back but I will not. Neither will any of my family nor friends, TRUST ME because I have already spread what I witnessed. And my veteran father used to donate money monthly because of how wonderful Suncoast Hospice was to my Grandfather before he passed. Change your policy and I'll update my review. I will be emailing managers and whomever else i can about this because it hurt me to watch that bad. Not only that, but i put a couple dollars in the little jar beside the register that said "goes directly to patient care" and didn't get a smile nor a thank you from the male or female at the counter. Hopefully this gets changed for the better. Then I'll bring my mom there to shop. We're not "resellers" but I believe both my parents and all veterans AND VETERANS SPOUSES deserve better. Thank you...
Read moreHospice is a great organization. The thrift store is ran by volunteers. The items are marked higher than most thrift stores. If you are looking for a bargain it's not the place to go. They will not negotiate their prices. They do have half off days or sales every day but that just makes most of the items normal price. Some stuff they are ok on but pretty much they price everything too high. They have room to be more fair. But, hey it is a charity!
Another visit. High prices on a lot of items. Sometimes they think they have gold. Unbending, poor customer service and management (not talking about volunteers) they are great! Probably...

I was with my 2 year old son waiting patiently not blocking the door and she was cussing and trying to pick fights with people in the line! I wish I was kidding. ..unbelievable behavior especially in front of children! I have heard good things about this shop unfortunately I refuse to go here now after the actions of...
