Fast Eddie's Slot Cars & Raceway — Local services in Pinellas Park

Stopped in to get some info, check out the track and purchase a car for my grandson...Tried to have a conversation with the owner which was impossible. He allowed person after person to interrupt our conversation, and didn't seem to care the least at displaying any type of customer service. I realized after I left and and made a few calls that this is more of a hangout spot than a business. I would not have given 3 stars but track set up looked great and well kept. There was a large variety of cars for sale if you know what your looking for which i did not... I see now why this hobby has a hard time growing...Impossible if they don't make new enthusiasts...

Very clean establishment! Racers and Employees willing to help and make sure you feel at home. They have 3 tracks Tri-oval, Hill-Climb, and Drag Strip all of which are great to race on. Rentals are fairly fast along with good controllers. They are stocked with plenty of cars, controllers, and parts to get you going, also they can order items for you if needed. Tons of classes to race entry level to expert through the month. No negatives that I can think of, I always have a great time when I visit. Keep up the hard work much...

The country would be a VASTLY more INTELLIGENT place if everyone who glues their face to an android phone took up slot car racing instead. Or don't you WANT your kid to learn critical building/fabrication/mechanical/artistic/sportsmanship/commradory skills??? And YOU would rather just turn them loose on the job market with a head-full of video-game skills and little else??? BTW, did I mention what a BLAST that slot car...
