I never do reviews but from here on out I will be!! I visited this location yesterday 8/15/24 arrived around 3:30pm because I placed an online order for pick up around 3pm. I selected the option of pick up at the drive thru. When I arrived no one came on the speaker as I waited an additional 5 minutes so I pull up to the window. there were 3 employees within my eyesight that had they're backs turned away from the window, a male and 2 females. the female that had on the orange popeyes, shirt proceeded to yell out the window with out opening it. (WE CLOSED) I'm sitting dumb founded because I'm on my hour lunch break trying to come get my online order which is supposed to be convenient but was not!!!! I stayed at the window for a minute or 2 asking what I should do about my online order only to be told repeatedly with the male and the female who had on the orange shirt tell me over and over (WE CLOSED) I repeatedly ask what I shoud do about my online order but again they turned there back while I was speaking. I drove off feeling super disappointed and disrespected. I called the location to see if I could get the names of the employees because honestly the girl wearing the orange popeyes shirt is ALWAYS VERY RUDE!!! And she is the one who answered when I called smh. I asked if I could get they're names and she put the phone down. I HELD FOR 54 minutes, in disbelief I could not believe that this is what customer service has come to!!! I overheard them laughing and talking then finally heard why the location was closed because other customers started coming inside... it was due to a roofing issue. I proceeded to call the location from my other phone and finally the same person picked up and I asked for a manager. The manager (who really does not deserve the title manager) comes on the phone asking how can she help me I try to explain the situation to her and let her know her employee had me holding for 54 minutes but she refuse to listen and tell me the samething (We Closed) I asked her for her name and she said Tracy, she told me the GM would be in in the morning... then told me she had customer to help and disconnected. I called this morning and spoke with (TRACY) the assistant manager who told me I was given a false name SMFH!!!!!! she stated she was there yesterday but left at 4pm. I told here I could hear everything in the background because I was on hold for 54 minutes!!!!!! she apologized and offered for me to come back up to get my original order and told me to leave a review so here I am, I also requested for a refund on the order. I am all for my black people but we really need to do better that was a piss poor way to handle a customer, and after I get my food today from the REAL (TRACY) I will not...
Read moreInitially apon my first visit I had a decent experience. I didn't enjoy the staff though. But since then the staff has gotten worse. I have both delivered from this location and ordered food. Since my first order at this location. To order food for myself. I came to this location multiple times to pick up deliveries. I witnessed an employee bring a hose into the area ware chicken was sitting under the lamps and spray the floors off with a garden hose trigger attachment. Water splatter from floor onto chicken. and floors be constantly dirty in the cooking staff area. This location also has a ongoing problem with missing items in the orders. The staff will constantly miss items included in the orders for pickup and delivery for Uber and DoorDash . This is why I will no longer respond to food delivery orders for popeyes in general. And like the largo location the staff will claim they are out of items towards the end of the night. Or claim they can't complete orders. . I hadn't ordered any food my self as well from this location in about a year. But, since the restaurant chain does have good food when prepared properly I decided to order and have it delivered and try it once again. Even though I knew they had bad staff and management previously. I thought maybe something has changed. People that sorry can't still have jobs. I went online. Popeyes had a online delivery exclusive. 24.99 for 10 piece original recipe 2 large sides and 5 biscuits. And a free new customer reg side. Delivery Only. So I ordered it. When it arrived it was of course missing the 5 biscuits and I had to request a refund. The chicken was good though. So hopefully they didn't drag the garden hose in again. The whole family did have a batch of seriously wild fats afterwards though. But the staffs issues have not stopped obviously. So idk if or when I will return. I give it 3 stars just because of the food being decent. But again it was still missing items and I won't pickup delivery's here either because the potential for customers to blame drivers for the resturants quality workmanship issue. Don't blame drivers at theses places blame the staff. They get bags sealed and aren't allowed to tamper with food. 3 star. I would not recommend. The food is good mostly but missing items issues and worker claimed lack of inventory, and I believe they claim items aren't there or available because they don't want to put in extra work closer...
Read morehorrible and unprofessional customer service i will never order from this store again... the order was missing numerous items.. unfortunately one of the missing items was plasticware and it was the night we were moving ..my granddaughters and i had to eat the mashed potatoes with our hands ..i had no vehicle to go out and get any plasticware as the movers had all of my belongings..i proceeded to call the store to complain it took 8-10 calls before getting an answer ..mind you before the food was delievered i called the store asking them to please remember the plasticware and sauces..they even called me back to inform me they were out of red beans and rice and would need to sub the red beans and rice with mash potatoes @ that time i mentioned to please be sure the order was correct ...after finally getting a hold of the restaurant.. as i was complaining.. mid conversation she handed the phone to another employee as i heard a completely different voice now responding to me..she states that shes sorry but it was door dashes responsibility to put the missing sauce napkins plasticware and straws in the "sealed bag" i then asked for a corporate or district managers contact info.. they then gave me a fake number ..it was definetly a co workers number ...i still called it knowing that corporate or a district manager is not going to answer @ 9pm ...after dialing the fake corporate number of 7273249548 after 1 ring they answered the phone saying hello ..as i heard wind and laughing in the background.. the fake district manager/corporate offered me a free meal after spending over $50 @ this place...amongst talking on the phone this person also passed the phone to a completely different person...im beyond frustrated and will do my own research getting to the bottom of this.. be aware as these types of employees are probably the type that will spit in your food..nasty unprofessional @...
