UPDATED REVIEW: Really sad to be updating my review from 5 stars down to 3 stars after I have been coming here every single week for a couple of months now. I was particularly disappointed with how today's situation was handled.
I came in for my usual weekly hair wash. Instead of being greeted "hello I hope you're doing well today" by boss lady, I was just right off the bat told that my hair wash would now be DOUBLE the price what I've been paying every single week for several months now.
Double the price from last week. No warning, no change of the signs, no courtesy email, no courtesy call, no "just so you know for next time." Nothing. Just "hey, today your hair wash will be double the price". That was it.
I was so shocked. Still are. I feel terrible because I love love my hair dresser (Isaura is AMAZING), but this left such a bad taste in my mouth I don't think I'm coming back here ever again -- especially since there's a similar salon just walking distance from my house charging the same "new" price (aka cheaper as we'll be saving money on gas now ) as Latin Touch now once they doubled down.
Bye, my once great friend.
OLD REVIEW: I go here every week to get my hair washed. They do an outstanding job with my thick curly hair, use great products that have my hair smelling good for several days. Best of all is you cannot beat their prices in the area! My fiance got his haircut here...
ย ย ย Read moreI do not recommend going here to bleach/ color hair. My hair was damaged and turned orange. I ended up spending more money than I thought having to go to another salon the next day to fix it. I came in to have my hair ombre from dark roots to a gradual ashy blonde for the length... I ended up with orange hair about 4 or 5 inches from my roots(ear length) and asked the hairdresser to fix it. She bleached it one more time this time from the roots (not what i asked) and was a yellow orange. There was attempt to ash it but it was still not an even color. The front is orange while the back is 2 shades lighter and ashy. I wasted 5 hours at the salon that day...
My mom also was serviced she has ashy blonde as her base and wanted to color correct it since there was some darker tones throughout... It looked ok when we left the salon but the next day we realized she had green tones :( very dissapointed at the money and time wasted...
Black hair is hard to lighten and the hairdresser attempted to fix the color but it was probably the type of bleach used that ultimately messed it up.
I wish we didnt get serviced there. First and last time. Enter at...
ย ย ย Read moreI will say this. Owners are friendly and the establishment is very clean. But they should be very upfront with price! I went for a wash and set and just Because I sat under a chair with rollers under a old hairdryer that barely worked I had to pay 25.00.. on top of that for her to blow my hair out (which is barely shoulder length) she charged 35.00 thats 55.00!!!... lastly, since she was working on another woman and had her waiting, rushingly she left one side of my hair with frizzy strands that I had to call to her attention... definitely not worth the money. Never again.
In response to your comment; blow dry was needed because of the lack of quality of your hair dryer. Typical ones for my length of hair only take 30 min. Also no where on your website does it state that those services together would cost that much. Also..The deep conditioning I had to bring to her attention Becuase she was not aware that the website stated it was free (I had to show it to her) And for the record a deep condition should include heat under the dryer which it was not. Again you both were the nicest people but your services...
