Mochinut - TeaChinut — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

I went to Mochinut in Pinellas Park for the first time today and for those who don’t know the difference, this is not Korean corn dog. I knew immediately when I saw how they look. I was surprised because I’ve been to Mochinut in Temple Terrace and they make it right so I recommend going there if you want to try authentic Korean corn dog. They are supposed to use panko crumbs so it’s super crispy on the outside and dough is supposed to be fluffy and chewy and a little moist. The ones they make it in Pinellas Park look like they don’t use the right batter and no panko crumb. I didn’t take a picture but you can compare the pics that other people posted here, and just google Korean corn dog and you can see the difference. Why does this matter? Mochinuts are very lovable. I think the best person who works there is Vu. I wish that maybe that they would post on their social media what flavors are available the day of or even the day before because I can’t really get someone on the phone to ask. Sometimes, I get someone on the phone who says that we can’t order ahead because they’re out of dough. I think that they just don’t want to make them fresh to order and that they’re lying. With a dozen at $33 and people who are willing to drive far to get them, I think it’s the least they can do to have actual employees who want to do their jobs and get it done. I wish Vu was working daily and answering the phone. I guess the girls working the counter are really actually doing me a favor and helping me cut out excess calories, so there’s a silver lining...

I have to edit... the quality has gone waaaay down with food and drink. The tea didn't even taste good the last time we went and that was the best thing before. The girl at the counter was a teen, alone, didnt make good tea. Wont be returning.
