Burlington — Local services in Pinole

Like most of the Burlington’s I’ve been to, nice products. Unfortunately it is poorly managed and very unprofessional and unorganized compared to nearby stores like Ross and Marshall’s. I returned an online purchase today and had to stand in the very long purchase line because there is no separate line for returns/exchanges. There were three checkouts open and at least 20 people in line. I wanted to exchange my purchase for a bigger size and the cashier Harmine ignored my request because she was unsure if the store did online purchases. When I asked again she went back and forth for a while on the radio to figure out if they were able to do it, turns out they don’t do simple transactions such as online purchases. It’d be nice if the cashiers were more knowledgeable, cordial, and the store was up to date with pretty much every other store in the area and in 2018. Now I see why the customer service was so bad here! The reviews below generalize the bad experience...but I will break down my bad experience... On Wednesday Dec 26 at a little after 1pm we came in to get some boys things and didn't find anything but wanted to exchange something....we stood in line for over 15 minutes (with only 3 people in front of us) the line started getting longer behind us and me and others complained to a cashier named Daniel asking if they were going to get more cashiers because we've been in line for what seemed like 30 minutes. Daniel's response (with a smirk on his face) was "would you like some water since you've been waiting so long?" I said, no, we want to be served. I asked for a manager...he ignored me and addressed his customer. So, I took his name and told him...they'd find out by me doing a google review. I usually never write reviews nor bother but this one got to me. I had an interview today at Burlington however, I arrived there early at 6:48pm I spoke to the LOVELY lady who was watching the doors telling her I had an interview and she helped on where the manager was. I go up to him, I say "Hi, I have an interview today at 7pm." and very rudely responds with "Well it's not 7 you're gonna have to wait" and completely walks away. I was just making my presence known. I go walk around meanwhile it's 7pm. I go back at 6:58, I get told by a cashier to go to the back because I'm gonna get called in for my interview. I wait 15 minutes and NO ONE ever came out to do my interview. I expected the manager to be more professional but it's Burlington, what...
