The Cheese Steak Shop — Restaurant in Pinole

For the only other person who left a one sentence review let me break it down to you. If you don't want it greasy and you don't want it bland then go to Panera across the way and get yourself a salad. This Cheese Steak Shop compared to other Cheese Steak Shops I have tried is the best. To also be fair I only have tried three (this location being one of them). This is one of the best between all of them and those other locations were stingy with the filling. This Cheese Steak Shop doesn't leave a piece of bread naked. Every bite is a bite full of meat, cheese, sweet peppers, and bread. I get my money's worth every single time and the people are very welcoming. I have tried their sides and some of their sandwiches and it hits the comfort spot. I have been to this location several times and there is nothing really bad to say other than the wait during a busy night. If a place is busy then it means something, it means they're doing something right. Parking spots are hard to find where this place is located but it doesn't hurt walking a little to go to this restaurant. Last time I went there service was not good, don't get me started in the 1 in Berkeley that 1 is nasty, hmm mm not for me or my lady. Pinole cheesesteak was better than expected. I went in the pinole store was disappointed that they didn't have the stamp card, wacky wednesday , fried vegetables, 7 and 15in philly's sandwich any more. I didn't want a 10 in because that was to much so i order a 5 and they shouldn't even have that on the menu they should have just on the kids menu cause that who is for. I will not be going back there. The only thing that would make me come back is the excellent customer service I give them a 10 and that's why they have three statrs.
