2nd Chance Home Decor — Local services in Pismo Beach

This is. MUST SEE on the gorgeous Central Coast of California. Located in Shell Beach, I came across this beautiful shop as I was driving around and stopped in.

This shop had the best collection of home decor items (in my opinion) that I’ve seen in the 805 area so far. I have been to quite a few second hand stores, antique shops, thrift shops, and etc and I have to say the taste and curation of items is special.

Everything is eclectic, unique, and beautiful. The shop is filled with color and light energy. Cynthia the owner is a beautiful and kind woman who has owned this shop for the past 13 years and picks out all the items herself.

There is art from local artists, beautiful and colorful sculptures and lamps. There is also a lot of Euro-inspired sculptures and art which I love.

I literally wanted to buy everything in the place. I will be back and highly suggest you visit!

TIP: if you see something you like just grab it and hold onto it because if you don’t someone will surely snag it before you can blink.

Price points are good. I would say it’s a little on the pricer side but I believe it’s justifiable by the taste and curation and location. Customer service is great. Can’t wait...

UPDATE Since the original response from the owner was a lot kinder, I left my review at that. But now that they edited their review after they updated things, I will add to my review. They just updated their hours, thank goodness! Also just updated on their website as well. Since not everyone goes to stores websites to check reviews, I felt the need to post here, where everyone can see the review. Still got a response from the owners on here so I don't see what the big deal is, it wasn't my fault you guys had the wrong hours posted and wasted our time. I'm not asking for a discount or anything special. Just posting an honest review is all. If I didn't post you wouldn't have updated your hours till god knows when, you're welcome, glad I could help out! :)

Need to update hours, we drove out 15 mins for a closed store that may only be open on the weekends??? Google says different. I don't know how the place really is. But not worth...

My boyfriend is retiring this month, and I wanted to buy him a fun gift. I thought I would have to go online, but this morning we happened to walk by this delightful shop as the owner, Cynthia, was arranging her wares. We were delighted by what we saw, and stepped inside.
