We basically ate there both days we stayed me and my wife really enjoyed the food it was all tasty we tried chicken falafel there's steak and shrimp we liked all of the dishes my wife wasn't the biggest fan of the beef their hummus was absolutely amazing it was some of the smoothest Summers I've ever tasted we really liked all their side sauces really tasty turmeric rice was awesome and their service was pretty good until our last visit unfortunately one of the employees didn't like that I didn't speak Spanish to them apparently I didn't notice the comment because I was too excited to eat their food again my wife said as I just paid somebody in the back I said a comment that why didn't I order in Spanish if I'm Mexican I really don't understand why the guy had to say that it really put a damper on wanting to ever go back to that place furthermore I only speak my native tongue with my family and sorry sir you are not my family that's just how I was raised I don't see the big deal it's not even a Mexican location anyways we really did like the food and I hope other people come and try I hope that guy doesn't say something stupid like that again it just made us feel very uncomfortable to go back Thank you for taking the time to read my...

Yup, five stars for a takeout place in a liquor store. Unbelievable, right?

It’s Mediterranean food; falafel, dolmas, shawarma, etc. I had the ‘Works’ which is a combo of filet mignon, chicken and Kafta skewers. It was great including the filet. I ordered it just to see if it was really as good as we were told. The filet was excellent. Chicken was a bit dry. The kafta, which is a cigar shaped cylinder for ground beef, was good but I’d probably skip it next time. Next time, I’ll go all in on the filet. You also get a small salad, falafels, some rice and some humus. All good. Wife got a veggie option that was more falafels in place of the meat that I had. The servings are big. When you’re ordering, the pictures are misleading. You get a lot more than what the picture suggests. The combo was $22 before tax so definitely affordable. And, definitely...

Surprising! I tried this place based on a suggestion from a friend, and I'm quite happy with the experience. I ordered take-away but that didn't detract from the quality nor presentation at all. We ordered a myriad of items: Mixed Grill Combo Salmon Kehbab The Works Spicy potatoes Grape Leaf (6)

Also, based on the suggestion of their recommendation baklava! Overall, the food items were well prepared and tasty. Nothing was over / undercooked, and the portions were great for the price. The staff was really helpful with my questions and seemed like friendly folks. Once the order was ready they packed it up nicely. This place is giving Petra SLO a run for their money!
