I was having a hard time finding a Orthodontist to take me on as a transfer patient. I went in a few months ago to get re-examined for braces and etc. Let me just start by saying the environment is adorable! Not only adorable but WARM and WELCOMING!! Everyone from the front desk to the doctors and assistants are freaking AMAZING!! As an adult I am picky about who touches me and etc especially being so early on in my new pregnancy as well. They have worked with me and are VERY UNDERSTANDING!! Today (11/17/2022) I finally got the chance to get into the office and get my previous orthodontist braces off and to restart with Bridge City’s equipment for braces. They actually were cheaper than other orthodontists I’ve seen. Very honest environment! It’s just absolutely amazing there! I’ve heard and seen kids come in today and days before and they all seem excited to see everyone. I overheard while getting my wires on about a young girl who was scared today at her braces appointment and the doctor was so comforting towards the younger girl and validated her emotions and understood everything she had to say before starting. NOW THAT IS SERIOUSLY GREAT AND IMPORTANT!! I will, as an adult, be going here as a long-term patient!...
Read moreI'm using my daughter's account to post this review. First of all, I've never had a bad experience with scheduling or with the ladies at the front desk. Everyone has always been very friendly and helpful. Secondly, and most importantly, Dr. Martin is competent, kind and is a great listener. I had my ideas of what my daughter needed since she has the same mouth as my husband and he had teeth pulled in order to avoid braces and make room for all his teeth. Dr. Martin didn't make me feel stupid for suggesting such a thing. He humbly stated that they could certainly do that with Clare after her adult teeth came in, but that there were other options available today that weren't available when my husband had his permanent teeth come in. I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered them all. We ended up doing a top and bottom expander without the braces (at this point) and we couldn't be happier with the results so far. Even though he recommended braces right now across the front permanent teeth, we didn't do that and he wasn't pushy about it. I would highly recommend Dr. Martin and his crew at Bridge...
Read moreMy first experience at the cranberry location was super great. Everyone I encountered was super friendly. I did notice the doc isn't the warmest towards patients (or at least me). I was determined to go somewhere I felt emotionally and socially comfortable, as I have severe social anxiety and depression. Today I didnt feel comfortable asking questions or bringing up concerns I had to the assist working on me. I left this appointment feeling absolutely terrible emotionally (as I'm already scared to ask questions generally)... now I'm just sad and literally just got started in my retreatment.
I do appreciate the doc coming in to address my concerns at the end but now I just feel awkward and uncomfortable going every 6 weeks. I was so excited to get braces again and now it's adding to my...
