The food I got from this truck was really good! The line was kind of long, but they worked diligently and got my food out in a reasonable amount of time (definitely a bit of a wait though). I ordered the bulgogi mandoo and a cheese seeker (Korean corn dog with mozzarella cheese). Both items were delicious and piping hot when I picked them up. The mandoo came in a decent portion and were extremely flavorful. They are not too doughy, and it's packed with meat, vegetables, and glass noodles. They are super savory and honestly don't even need sauce to enjoy, although they give you complimentary soy sauce. I loved their Korean corn dog. It is crispy and sweet on the outside, with lots of gooey cheese on the inside. Perfect breading ratio. There are a few sauces you can add, like mustard, ketchup, or Mayo, and I recommend this mayo. It goes really well with the corn dog. All in all, the place makes delicious food for fair prices. Portions are okay, and sometimes there might be a wait, but it's worth it. The menu is very small and limited, but the food they make is amazing. Try a corn dog!

We will literally travel to wherever Boonseek is. They do go to quite a few neighborhoods but the staples seem to be CMU and Pitt. The Boonseekers and Cheeseekers are amazing. I was initially nervous to try a the combination of a corndog with a sugary outside seemed odd to me. But now, we're hooked. The Kimbob is similar to a sushi roll but it's made with carrots, rice, tofu, and cucumber (think). The Chibob is very similar to a general tsos but spicier and made with all white meat. It's delicious as well. Lastly the mandu is so good. They're dumplinhs stuffed with marinated beef. Very flavorful and juicy. Honestly everything is so good. They're a must try.

Finally got to try The Boonseek food truck outside of Eleventh Hour Brewing today. What can I say other than it was a delicious treat. The Korean take on the ‘Merican favorite hits the tastebuds differently but hits them nonetheless. Adding the melty cheese and crispy potatoes really fills out to a full meal on a stick. Was worried that it’d be too sweet with added sugar but it works well with the dough used for the exterior. I also really liked their Chi-Bob fried chicken. Covered in a sweet and spicy sauce, and served with pickled daikon. Needed something pickled to celebrate picklesburgh this weekend. I’m sure I’ll be seeking out this truck again soon.
