I have been eating at Jay's truck for about five years now. This is the best bang for your buck! How can you beat a $5 meal with a portion size that large! He is extremely helpful in creating what I am hungry for. When I first started going to his truck I would only get the chicken tika. After a few months we started to know each other better. When I was talking to Jay randomly about how I used to always get cream of spinach at Boston Market back home with my grandmother, he suggested the chicken saag. Absolutely fantastic dish!!! I went to India on Wheels at least once a week for four years while I was at school at Pitt. It is the best food for the price in Oakland, hands down. A steaming plate of Indian curry is perfect to pick up at the truck to eat in the sunshine at Schenley Quad, on the way home from class on a chilly day, or if you want to make your classmates jealous to bring to class.

I've been meaning to try this food truck for awhile, and when I finally did, it didn't disappoint! I ordered a small portion of their paneer curry with rotis and at $5 for a generous and delicious portion, it hit all the right spots for me! Steaming paneer in warm curry and fresh warm chapathis.. what more can one want! They have some combo offers for larger appetites and you can pick from roti, naan and rice to go with your curries.
