RLM Amusements — Local services in Plainfield Charter Township

Remember arcades? I do. Yeah, that probably dates me, but that's ok. In the 80's there were arcades all over the place. Even Meijer has had an arcade room for a few years. Bring a pocketful of quarters and try not to burn through them too quickly. With the advent of home console video games, who needs arcades anymore? You do. Head on it too RLM amusements and pay Rodney a visit. But better plan on a Thursday or Saturday though. That's the only time they are open. $10 gets you in and you can play to your hearts content. They sell water and some cans of pop and a few snacks. It's a great time, more pinball machines than video games. Old School games like defender and Ms Pacman and Joust. I rocked Galaga tonight. RLM is AWESOME! I've been here for regular arcade hours and I've reserved the space for a private party - I recommend both! Private party included about 25 people, ranging from toddlers to seniors so I can confirm it's fun for all ages 😁

Venue is a very clean and casual space; it's not obnoxiously loud, either, like a lot of other arcades.

Rodney is great, easy to work with, and will tell you all about the machines if you ask. He's very knowledgeable and ready to help. He also ran a pinball tournament for my party which my guests had tons of fun with.

The owner is honest, highly skilled, deeply knowledgeable across a range of both video and pinball machines, and has SUPERB communication skills letting you know where things stand through each step of the process.
