Joy Of Sprinkles — Restaurant in Plainfield Charter Township

I took their Halloween decorating class with Royal icing for cookies just yesterday. Pam, the owner, really knows her stuff! The class was fun she was a great teacher and it was pretty easy to catch on as somebody who has never worked with Royal icing previously. I'm sitting here eating my spooky spider web cookie as I write this review - it is so good! The cookie is perfectly firm, wonderful thickness, and just slightly sweet; the icing has delicious flavor as well and breaks off perfectly only where you've bitten into the cookie; it doesn't crack the design or crumble in your hand. I very highly recommend you stop by the store for all of your baking needs- cookie cutters, aprons, pans, flavorings, decorations . . . and while you're there get some of Pam's custom made sugar cookies with royal icing of course! They are truly beautiful...

Absolutely amazing experience at Joy of Sprinkles Bakery! They did such a beautiful job on our custom Careology cookies — they turned out even better than we imagined! The attention to detail was perfect, and you can tell they truly care about their work. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. My absolute favorite bakeshop EVER! My wife and I visit Pam's shop at least once every week (sometimes more) to get her beautiful, creative, and delicious baked goods. We come every saturday for Pam's amazing cinnamon rolls (best in Grand Rapids) and often try her cookies or special desserts of the week. If we can't make it to next weekend, you'll often see us visiting again on Tuesday or Wednesday for more snacks. When it's time for a special event, it's definitely Pam's custom cakes or...
