Wild Fork — Local services in Plano

Wow - I was excited with this concept until I visited the store tonight. Something felt off - it felt fake. I read packages in the store to try and figure out sources of product. For example, they had kangaroo meat which is very rare in the US. Their packaging referenced a company in New Jersey but nothing else. Kangaroos in New Jersey? Not likely. The scallops - “product of USA”. But where? No explanation.

Digging deeper - this store is just the front for a multinational corporation with serious legal and ethical issues. Sourcing food in the US is far from perfect but this store is mass produced meats hiding behind upmarket branding.

My husband and I have been shopping at Wild Fork for a couple of years now and have been to multiple locations and met several of your team members. Our absolute favorite team member is Priti, who we had the privilege of meeting at the Plano location recently. Priti is simply OUTSTANDING!!! I put this review down for the wrong location and had to fix that! The staff here are great, and deserve some praise! I love shopping here for my proteins, their seasonings are a staple in my home, and I really appreciate the awesome customer service/recommendations.
