Andrea is such a great teacher. She is kind, funny, knowledgeable and most of allā€¦ patient. My daughter and I took her ā€œIntro to Stained Glassā€ class (got them as a gift for Christmas!) and really enjoyed ourselves. At first I was worried about the length of the drive every week - but we live in the northwest Leeā€™s Summit area and it only takes us 40 minutes door to door. We are signing up for her 2nd level class: ā€œBeginning Lead Methodā€ and we canā€™t wait!!

More reasonably priced than I expected and I feel accomplished that I made something unique and beautiful. Even if you think, "There's no way you could ever do this!", try it! Andrea will help you make something beautiful. I'm so glad we did this!

Andrea has EXPERTLY repaired two lamp shades for me. And custom made & matched several stained glass windows as well. One lamp had two missing ā€˜petalsā€™ from a flower made from stained glass in the late 1800ā€™s. I couldnā€™t tell the difference between the repaired pieces and the originals- only by her showing me the repair was I able to know. Listen up (sorry Andrea, I know this is a difficult task to do- sorry if my review burdens you with repair work) She had to take an original section out of the leading- make a mold, find the proper glass, and three-dimensionally form the glass over the mold- heated in in a kiln-to replicate the pieces- she is an artisan in the glass medium- I had a hard time believing anyone could even do such a thing. So she works magic with antique lamp-glass repairs, and her work with windows is exceptional. Though I live in Kansas City, the drive to her studio is well worth it and her studio is the only place I will ever go for any custom stained glass...

Andrea and Denning Stained Glass is simply amazing!

Andrea created a special class for my group of 4. As a whole, the environment was fun, warm, and inviting. Andrea was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, flexible (you know, Covid and all) encouraging, and also had just enough tough love with her approach to help hold you accountable. šŸ˜‰

At least one person in the group is already planning the next project, and I'm thinking when I get a larger place that I'd like to create something more complicated as well.

Denning Stained Glass is worth your time to check out, if only cuz Andrea...
