Red Dragon II — Restaurant in Platte City

Where do I start talk about a place that cuts corners on their food. We were there at opening. Crab raccoons were definitely from yesterday. They were cold and very hard borderline stale. The hot and sour soup was nothing more than egg. Drop soup with a little soy sauce, and some mushrooms thrown in no flavor. I had the cashew chicken or should I say chicken with 2 1/2 pieces of cashew not exaggerating. It was flavorless. It looked good, but you can tell. They just threw some chicken broth and a little soy sauce to reheat it in the walk, it was gross. The fried rice was nothing more than some chicken broth and soy sauce. I realize these little places are charming and with very few working people (I saw one person total) It can't be easy. It was frustrating that the person waiting on us took 2 different calls start to finish standing at our table so we couldn't order, it was awkward. Start to finish calls on speaker phone with us waiting to finish our order. They use community cups with spoons for sauces etc. Post covid, I just don't see why any place would want you to use the same sauce, with the same spoon, in hopes that the person you didnt dip in the sauce or use the spoon. I asked if it was from the same day I was told yes with 3/4 of it gone and being there 30 minutes after opening. The food was mall food court quality at best. STOP, STOP, WARNING WARNING! Do not ever eat here. We were so excited to try a new place and got three orders of food and three orders of crab ragoon. We eat Chinese on the regular and the Kung Pao chicken was do bad we couldnt eat it. It literally smelt foul, so bad it made our hands stink touching it. Before we realized, as much we had took a few bites and regret it. Our stomaches are rolling. I called repeatedly. They wanted us to drive back in with the food 40 min there and back to get a refund. It was closeing time so the lady said someone will call you back and hung up on me several times.
