Ticket Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Platteville

It’s unfortunate that the service is so poor here because their food is really great. I have frequented this establishment since i moved here in September. The service has increasingly gotten worse. After the last time i stopped, i will not return. It was a slow Sunday night, 1 bartender, 1 cook. I watched a table sit dirty and empty while the bartender repeatedly walked past it. I waited over 10 minutes just for a drink that i ordered sitting at the bar. There were less than 15 people in the bar. We ordered our favorite “Potatchos” and it took 45 minutes to get them. I also watched a table get irritated and leave when they clearly would have continued to drink because the bartender did not keep up with them. Mind you it was extremely slow. We watched a pastor come in for his food he called in, he showed up roughly 20 minutes after his call, the bartender rudely stated to him it would be another half hour for his food. It’s unfortunate that this place cannot have a good hired hand to run it because they really do have so much potential. Lastly, I’ll state that the last 3 times I’ve been in they didn’t have anything i ordered including Cherry Doctor, Energy drink, ginger beer, and coke...

Cute bar and grill. I had the Fireworks Burger... Delicious! I asked for my burger with no pink... not mooing 😂... but not hard as a hockey puck... It came perfect! With fried pickles as a side. It definitely satisfied my fried pickles craving. The bartender was very polite and attentive. I'll definitely be going back this summer... I'm only here for work. I didn't give it 5 stars for Atmosphere ONLY because they have no AC... And after working outside for the past 12 hrs...I wanted to enjoy my food in AC. But it wasn't uncomfortably hot...other than for the bartender and the kitchen staff who were running around sweating. But they still had smiles on their faces and were awesome! I'll still go back🥰 ... Even with no AC! 😂

Update: I ended up going back a few weeks later. They had AC! 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 Food was still amazing! Updated to 5 stars...

Went to the Ticket today and ordered a drink from the waitress. I handed her my ID and she took a long time looking at it (which I completely understand because I am from IL and obvi my ID looks different than Wisconsins) but then she slaps my VALID ID down in my face and says, “thats a fake” in such a rude tone. The waitress walked away from our table immediately after everyone was telling her that i am of age. I was completely disgusted and upset and walked out. Dont plan on returning for the poor service and im baffled she didnt even asking me for other forms of identification which i had on me. I regret not calling the police and having them prove to her that I am of age just so I can flip the birdies and embarrass her for...
