The service was absolutely horrible! I was there a few years ago and it was the best place ever.. Yesterday when i was there i felt invisible.. No one greeted me walking into the store as they looked in every direction but mine and did everything they could not to help me at all! Finally they got tired of acting and they both just went in the back and stayed. Unfortunately i had a voucher there as i am a pointed veteran and our service account for the VA is with this place so needless to say i was still there when they decided to come back out and still walked right past me like i wasn't there. Finally i got frustrated and turned to see what was going on and the woman was just leaning on the counter day dreaming lol.. In my frustration i asked "Can i get some help please"??!! Did i mention there were two women and only another guy and i were customers? Yes, two sales persons, two customers.. Only one customer was getting help though... Hmmm $165 and they didn't even give me a bag, a thank you or even a "have a nice day"! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AND I'LL BE SURE TO LET EVERYONE IN THE VA SYSTEM KNOW THEY SHOULDN'T EITHER.. Well unless you "look like" the other guy in the store. They treated him...
Read moreThe worst boot shop I have ever entered!! The staff are incompetent at best! Not only did I have the information and serial number of the boot I wanted, when I garnered the website to the antendee they claimed the website and boot did not exist! After a lengthy conversation, and a talk with the owner (who obviously has never worn a work boot) did I get an offer on the boot I wanted. After this entire escapade of ignorance I had to endure, I was finally offered my boot at and insane mark up, of $150 dollars to be precise. To validate this I will mention the boot and price, the Danner Workman product #16245 at the price of $259. If anyone is looking for a great pair of boots you can get them at the Locust Grove Country Shop in Spring Church, picked up the Danner Workman there for $105. I will never be a patron of this store. If you don’t want to be greased up by a snake oil salesman I would recommend you not vist this...
Read moreIn January, after driving by your store multiple times my husband and I stopped in on a snowy Saturday afternoon. We were both so impressed by the layout of the store and the attention given to the different lines of boots and clothing that you sell. I had worked in retail in years prior and was amazed at the use of color and visual art, such as the HUGE BOOT on display as well as the music playing. It made for a relaxed shopping experience and one that we will be sure to stop back in again to enjoy. My husband purchased a pair of new work boots for his job as well as some comfy thick boot socks that I've enjoyed during these chilly winter nights. I'd recommend this store to anyone looking for the latest work and casual wear available for men and women alike. As a final note...this is a family run business that supports the local economy. What other reason do you need to stop in and see what D.I.B.S. Work Boots has to...
