Stop & Shop — Local services in Plymouth

I shop here alot but today i went in to return hair products i bought and i do not have a reciept, i had 2 hair products she told me i cannot return them at all so i asked her can i return one for store credit than she said no i asked to speak with a manager and she said the manager told me im not allowed to return anything over 20$ i said thats ridiculous. ..she scanned one and slammed it on counter and rolled her eyes and said no i cannot return these now this is the second time i went there and she has been completely rude to me and disrespectful and with everyone else shes smiling and nice, i just moved here from 2 hours away and i know its the way i look and i know thats why she is acting that way, im sure she is assuming i stole them...because of the way i look. Im an adult im not a teenager i have a child i bust my a** everyday for her to be this disrespectful to me. Ive been going there for months...and do money orders all the time for rent. I dont know what her issue is but im really upset with the type of people you have working there especially ones who judge by someones looks. Never again will i shop here especially after she denied me to speak...

Be very, very careful about ordering baby formula from S&S. We ordered some a few days ago and they accepted the order. It was supposed to be delivered today (Sunday) in the 9-11 window. My wife even received an email at 8:30am saying we were the next delivery. We were required to have someone home to accept the delivery also. we waited until after 12 noon and then called to see what happened. We were told that they were out of stock. What a joke by S&S. Terrible communication and coordination by this company. Funny how they accept orders most likely knowing that they will have no stock during the current situation. Leading people on about availability and then making them wait around for a delivery that will never happen. Disgraceful! Might be boycotting them in favor of local Market Basket and Shaws. Can't believe anyone these days, even when we are paying over the top prices for...

Was visiting family in the area a few weeks back and needed to get some baking supplies and dessert for a small gathering last minute. It has good hours and was open pretty late (after 9PM on a Friday night). That said, many of the items we purchased were on sale but our Stop and Shop card would not work and we did not have time to track down an employee (we were at self-checkout) and argue over it. I typical avoid shopping at stop and shop since the prices are higher than pretty much anywhere else (though the selection is nice there). Next time, as long as it is open, I'll be shopping at Market Basket. Cheaper for the same items and a better selection, plus you don't need to worry about a card working to get a great price.

Store was organized, neat, and clean though. And we found almost everything we were shopping for so... worth 3...
