I was looking for someone to make a cake for my daughter’s Berry Sweet Baby Shower and Cakesbyiz did an amazing job! We picked a vanilla with lemon curd cake, everyone at the shower was asking me who made this beautiful cake and even bettter tasting cake. I also ordered the mini cupcakes. They were lemon cake with vanilla frosting and chocolate frosting…they were such a hit too, they tasted amazing and looked adorable. I was also so impressed with her customer service, we did everything on IG messaging. She was so helpful with size of cake and decorations because i had no idea what size to get. I sent Iz some pictures and theme of the shower and she did the rest. Ordered a cake. Process was simple to order however I had issues with the font on the cake and fact that it was peeling off even at pick up (my family picked it up). I reached out to the owner however issues were not resolved. She said she was not responsible for the cake after pick up and sent a picture of the cake prior to pick up. It revealed that it was indeed peeling prior to pick up. After I pointed that out the messages ceased. She acknowledged she didn’t use the font I asked for as well. The cake was very dry. The frosting is great and perfectly light. Tres leches was okay could be better.

The kids of course enjoyed it either way, but the adults not so much. My family is Dominican, and his Puerto Rican many did not want to take some home.

The design was executed. The ears I thought it was going to be different the way it was explained, but overall it’s a cute cake. Also the character to the right was originally behind the ear luckily the kids did not break it we just moved to the top.
