Epoch Asian Fusion — Restaurant in Pompton Lakes

I could not recommend a place higher to get some scrumptious sushi at!! Not only do they give some kind of tasty treat that's a pleasant surprise every time, but they also never fail to impress on the quality of service and freshness. I always thought I didn't like crab until I tried it here! We normally get the E2 Epoch Special Combo as you cannot beat the quality you get for that price.

I love all of these rolls: Eel Avocado Crab Tempura, Autumn, Pink Lady, Red Dragon, Dragon, and Sunshine.

My favorite was definitely the Sunshine roll. It is so light and fresh with that lemon zest. It has such a tangy balance with that zest, teriyaki, and seared spicy salmon. Talk about a harmony that'll leave you wanting every bite and regretting you agreed to share this roll with your friend.

The miso soup is just what you expect, I enjoyed it a bit and later used it to cleanse my palate between all the rolls.

I've also had the yaki udon with chicken and it was adventurous for me, I enjoyed the thick noodles and hearty veggie mix, it was a delightful guilt-free lunch when I paired with the Eel Avocado roll. The eel and avocado both are always so beautifully fresh, I try to get it as often as possible here.

I can't glow any more about this place, just please try it out if you have the opportunity and you'll be as impressed as I am at what a delightfully delicious food haven rests in that little shopping...

This was our first time at this hidden gem. And this was by far the best restaurant Asian or otherwise in Pompton Lakes. We started our meal with whst turned out to be the best Miso soup I ever hear. It was just so flavorful. Everyone young and old loved it. The sushi was fresh and delicous. The Mango Lovers and Sunshine special sushi rolls are not to be missed. We ordered everything for pickup. And for those of us not fluent in Sushi-ese, every container was hand marked with what sushi or entree was in each container. We also had the Lo Mein, Fried Rice and Sesame chicken. Not only where they all delicious, we finished our meal with out that typical chinese food/ deep fried hangover. This food was tastier and some how lighter and fresher too. This restaurant is so understated. Clearly chefs and not cooks prepared this meal. This was such a pleasant surprise. One last thing. Every utensil and contsiner is environmentally friendly. Every detail of this experience was so thoughtful and delicous. This is a true 5...

A strictly takeout sushi spot; this place blew away my expectations as well as quality of food compared to everywhere else in town. I’ve been having sushi locally from other locations for years and never knew this place was right down the street from me. I’m glad we decided to try it because our meal was one of the best we’ve had, especially takeout. The tempura was still crispy, flavorful, and light (unlike other nearby sushi places that are too heavy with their coating and it’s soggy by the time we get it). They also threw in a complimentary treat, which for us was a delicious California roll with a sweet and tangy cream cheese topping. Overall a 10/10 experience. And best of all it was AFFORDABLE! Two rolls, a giant platter of shrimp fried rice (absolutely LOADED with full sized shrimp too!) and appetizers for just $50. All of our food was fantastic and this will definitely be our #1 from now on! I wish I could link my photos to the post cuz...
