Costco Savannah is absolutely top-notch! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy and efficiency of the store. The layout is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to navigate even when it’s busy. The selection here is incredible—whether you’re stocking up on groceries, hunting for seasonal items, or just browsing, you’ll find high-quality products at unbeatable prices. Their fresh produce and bakery items are always amazing; the rotisserie chicken is a must, and the pastries are irresistible. Plus, the food court never disappoints—those $1.50 hot dog combos are the best deal in town! What really sets this location apart is the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and quick to assist with any questions. Even the checkout process, which can get hectic at times, was smooth and efficient thanks to their hardworking team. Parking is abundant, and the gas station is another huge perk with consistently low prices. I also appreciate how clean and well-maintained everything is, from the aisles to the restrooms. Costco Savannah is truly a one-stop shop that delivers on quality, value, and service every time. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area—you’ll leave happy and with a cart full of amazing finds!

“An Honest Review of Costco – A Declining Shopping Experience” Shopping at Costco used to be enjoyable, but lately, it’s become more frustrating than fun. Now, the constant membership card checks feel excessive—why do I need to show my paid membership multiple times, including at the register, just to verify it’s me? It’s unnecessary and takes away from the convenience and ease that made Costco stand out. On top of that, the behavior of some associates is unsettling. Many come across as overly intrusive, acting in a way that feels unnatural—almost as if they were on something. They hover, watch too closely, and make the shopping experience uncomfortable and weird. Strangely, the closer you get to the register, the more bizarre and intense their behavior becomes. Shopping should be simple and enjoyable, not a stressful, monitored ordeal.

Gosh, where do I begin...friends of ours have a Costco membership and went shopping one day and knew of the Organic foods we ate and so they snapped pics on their cell and sent them to us with prices. We decided it would be a savings to us, to get our own membership. Plus, we would be able to get items we ate on an everyday basis at a savings. We shopped for a couple of hours, filled our cart full, and walked 2.75 miles going up and down aisles. **Worth noting...The pickled beets are delicious. My mom used to make those as a kid. Great find at Costco! My only item I could not find was shredded unsweetened coconut. I asked staff and they said Costco doesn't carry it. It was a fun and productive trip to Costco! Gas prices were good at Costco, we filled up on our way back home.

May 28, 2025 could possibly have been my last visit to Costco. I usually get Oxtails from here weekly, around $400 to $600 worth, to be exact, however, they've been out for quite some time but I still drop in to check. Tonight was a bit over the top! I really wish I had gotten this employees name but maybe I'll drop in just to get that soon and I'll remove this not so nice description I'm about to give. The employee is the tall African American woman that resembles an ostrich bird with 5lbs of makeup plastered on her face everytime you visit. As I stated earlier, my visits are weekly for these Oxtails that I purchase for my restaurant. This was the 3rd encounter I have had with this same ostrich. I scan my card as I'm entering the store and she yells out to me, "ma'am, ma'am, ma'am, that's not your card!" I'm at least 10 to 12 feet away from her at this point and I yell back, "that is my name and this is my card!" She then says, "you need to come back", as she's trying to talk to the person at the exit and tell them to call someone, I walked away to go shopping. Once I've shopped, I'm exiting, she tells the woman at the exit door, that I was the person she was talking about. I said to myself pure ignorance and left. On this evening I went in and whose at the door but the Ostrich! Yes, she did it again! I said to her, "that picture isn't me but that's a Costco issue, not mine, that is my name and I am the owner of this card!" She say, "ok, I just wanted to know, now in the future I'll know." Whew, conflict resolved! Actually NO! When I'm done shopping and I'm paying for my items, her manager Joe approaches me and proceeds to tell me that he "has been informed that I had a card that didn't belong to me." I informed Joe that "I don't steal and I can afford my business membership that I pay for annually." I told him that "I am a business owner and I don't have time for petty ass games of the such". I then told him in so many words that that old bird he had up front needed to grow up because why tell me ok, so I'll know for future references and then come report it to him, Joe, I saw the slight grin! Joe then asks "can he see my card", my first mind said to say no and see how far this is going to go but my tired body said show him and be done with this foolery. Joe then proceeds to tell me that "being that I'm a business owner, I should understand that he has to follow up on such a report and asked me wouldn't I have? I told Joe, "no I wouldn't" his response was, " I guess that's where we would agree to disagree"! Now Joe tell me what did you accomplish by approaching me. You and your employee are now being accused of harassing a customer, my comfort level with shopping at Costco has gone from a 5 to a 0 and my card still comes up on my device with some else's photo.

FYI; I mentioned this issue to the cashier the first time she checked me about my card. She said, "you can go stand in that customer service line if you want and let them attempt to fix it but I see this ALL THE TIME!

This is the reason why I am giving two stars. I actually like Costco and glad to have my membership back. I like it over Sam's Club because I have a bigger selection to choose from, I am not being threatened to lose days of my membership that I pay for annually if I cancel before the renewal date like Sam's Club. I like that Costco no matter which membership will not deny you access before 9:45 am because you're not a "Plus" member. And they still take cash for your gas. I was just at a Sam's Club and was told it was not only card only, but I would have to go in the store, PURCHASE a gift card, and then use my membership for gas. Absolutely ridiculous.

Here is what I am very disappointed with: I needed to change my cellular service that I have been with for a long time because of the high prices getting tacked on. So I listened to what the AT&T reps had to say and switched over my service. I got my new phones and I am supposed to turn in my previous phone for trade in. Welp, that has been difficult.

After spending an hour on the phone, I am being told that AT&T won't provide me with a return box or label to turn in my phone. I have to go into an AT&T store for that or drive back to Costco and have them do it. That was not what I was told and I don't care to be inconvenienced.

Then, I get this bill at the end of this month being doubled on what the contract says my monthly payments should be. Now I understand the bill was supposed to be slightly higher, but seriously $300??? Now I am mad. My youngest is starting high school on the 1st and what I thought would help bring down my bills just increased it and AT&T cannot verify if my bill will be as agreed upon $157 per month for 3 lines. Why in the hell would this not be transparent?

The military discount doesn't mean crap to a disabled veteran who is also a single parent. I have to now cancel medical appointments for the rest of the month that I need to travel for because I got to make ends meet. I am hoping I can push off my next surgery to September so hopefully, I can afford it.

Your AT&T rep screwed over a disabled veteran for profit and I will never be okay with that. So I don't recommend anyone working with your AT&T representatives if they cannot be upfront with the downside of switching services to this magnitude.

Like I said, I am pissed because I trusted these people and they have done me financial and...

I am very disappointed in the staff here. My family and I were there on Sunday, October 15th. We were ready to check out so I proceeded towards the self- checkout lane. I came upon the lane and there was an associate talking with a customer. I stopped my cart and I was looking ahead to see if there were any registers open so as not to hold up the line. She looked at me and pointed her finger at me and said, " You're gonna have to wait." I was planning on doing so anyway but it was her tone that was bothersome. It becomes our turn so we walk up to the register. I am 46 years old and have been doing self-checkout for many, many years. I scan the 1st item, no problem. I scanned the 2nd item, no problem. I told my son to go get a box for us to put our stuff in. I tried to scan the next item and it scanned but when I went to put it down into the "bagging" area the machine kept telling me to remove the unbagged item. A male associate came over and was very short with us. I was trying to tell him that I had tried every way that I knew how to get these things to scan and it was not working. I told him that these were the kind of things that would make me not shop at a place anymore. This isn't the 1st time I have had problems at the self-checkout at this location. The associate then told me that there were lines that had cashiers working them. My husband stated that we prefer to scan our own items. The associate then said very loudly " well, everyone else has figured it out". Then he walked away talking smack. So, he basically called me stupid without actually saying it in front of the whole store. Everyone was looking and watching. I talked to a manager named Brandon and he kept saying, " well, IF that is the way that conversation went I will have a talk with the associate." That made me feel like he was calling me a liar. I don't appreciate being spoken to like I am an idiot. Even if a customer is an idiot it gives them no right to speak to the customer that way. There products are great. However, some of their associates have an...
