Dillard's — Local services in Port Arthur

I have been shopping at this location since I was 5 with my mom. I am now a 26 yo female and was in the women's/swim wear department today... I was going to purchase a new pair of shoes but after being told I could not take what I wanted from swim wear to the shoe department I decided to leave after purchasing what I wanted from swimwear. The lady in the swim wear/ladies department was very rude and seemed like she did not trust us. Made me feel like she thought I was going to steal. It just really made me feel uncomfortable because I've been shopping here my whole life and would literally never. Do better, yall missed out on me buying $100 pair of Ugg sandals and I missed out on purchasing them from yalls location because I refuse to feel that way. She also yelled at my husband and told him to get out of the dressing room while he was holding our daughter. This was a horrible experience all around and I can honestly say I have never had this happen...

Well, you can see 6 years ago Dillard's was the best! Unfortunately, today I am compelled to rate the cosmetic department "zero"! Basic customer service teaches you if someone is waiting, you can at least greet them and let them know you will assist them at the completion of your current customer. The current clerk's can't even be cordial and do that! I drove to Beaumont!

Voted Best Department Store in this area (by me)! I've found the best shoes on sale! 'Best designer handbags on sale! Ladies and Gentleman in cosmetics department are top notch! Jewelry department is -okay, it's rather small for a department store. Their clothing choices are fine. I love the lingerie department! The service was terrible here, such a shame because I shop here alot. I was looking at a watch, and the employee just walked by without asking if I needed help. So I asked a question and was ready to purchase a watch. She just gave me a quick answer and went off to go help someone else out and answering all their questions like she knew them. I was so mad, I wanted to say something. But I kept my cool and left. I will not be shopping here anymore after that. A shame because I always shop here and spend alot of money, not...
