After giving Baers a 3 star review I was contacted by Jennifer at corporate. She was very nice and tried to help me with the problem PROBLEM - the furniture I ordered was a completely different color than the sales person was showing me at the store. Either the sales person didnāt know she was showing me a different collection or the lighting in the store doesnāt allow the true color of the furniture to come through. Jennifer was able to exchange the bedside tables since they are not special order but I also ordered the buffet to use instead of a dresser. Since the buffet is Special Order they would not cancel it for me. I understand this because the color is kind of shocking and most people would not order it if they saw it first. Now I am stuck with all of it and have to work all the colors in my bedroom around it or have the 3 pieces refinished. I canāt improve my rating of 3 stars because I wonāt be able to purchase from them again. The furniture I have received is nice quality but I expect that for the price just the color is the problem. We do not have any more of those reclining sofas in stock. We went to the store and walked in the back to the clearance section only to see right in front of us another sofa. Just like the one we got that was defective. Same sofa. Same price. Lie number 2!! So we had a different sales person this time. The store gave us credit to use in store. So we settled on a new sofa and matching chair. Paying the difference in price. Told there was not a sofa in stock. Got a call later saying we are pulling a sofa from another persons order. So we could get the set. Fast forward 2 weeks. New sofa and chair was delivered today. I asked the delivery man what Baers does with the defective sofa I am returning. Thinking maybe they donated it somewhere as they do Not sell used furniture according to Joe the manager. He said they would repair it and sell it!!! I almost fell over. So Lie number 3 !!! Parts were shipped to Baers and we received without a box (just the frame), which was probably a returned defective part. Had a Technician come out to replace the part and she brought her teenage daughter with her. After the repair, there was a long deep scratch into the arm of the sofa, which wasn't there before they started the repair. Called back to have another part ordered to replace this defective part and was told that it would take 6-12 weeks to get the part in. I waited and called in and was told that the part was never ordered and that it was referred back to the store. I can't get through to the store at all during working hours. I called corporate and they couldn't get through to the store either. I was told that they would contact me by the end of day. Customer service and their service company obviously don't know how to do their jobs. I thought Baers was the highest quality furniture in the area. I will never do business with this company again! I thought Natuzzi was the highest quality sofa coming from Italy. Boy...
