Spencer's — Local services in Port Charlotte

Extremely Rude customer service. My card was charged after being told it was voided out so I walked away without my merchandise and on my way out my card was charged. I was Treated really rude by male staff who was working the register he yanked my receipt out of my hand because I asked to see it for my bank statement that was in fact charged. I paid for something I couldn’t leave the store with because their reciept said voided but my bank was charged. The one Young lady was very professional with helping try to resolve an issue. Sadly didn’t get resolved. But my biggest issue is the girl who came up to my 3 year old and ripped a funnel out his hand and said “ are you buying this ?” I’ve never been treated so terrible anywhere. You should never rip something out of a child’s hand....

I pay US currency (cash) for two shirts. I have to return the items 6 days later due to not fitting my fiance. I go back to Spencers with my receipt. I am then told due to policy... we don't give cash back so ull need to take store credit. Wait excuse me? I have my receipt, I returned within 30 days.. and u are MAKING me spend my money here when I don't want to? When I paid with the US currency? Wow. Never going to another spencers again. Absolutely pathetic and stealing from people. Ohhh.. and then we waited 25 minutes for store credit, noone saying sorry for the issue... nothing! I took the items and just walked...

I love this place. I went here a couple days ago I wish we had one in the mall closer to my house but they took it out. I bought so many cute things and they have a little fun section if you know what I mean. I bought a book about edibles FOREVER LOVE THAT BOOK. I was able to make so many fun things with it 🤪. I really wish we had one closer to me the closest one is an hour away now. They had a backpack that was also...
