Newest UPDATE* Weird how I can not reply to your message, but I can here. First I was never offered the free service station, second yes I left angry but no profanity was used and I really don't like you trying to make me look like the bad guy by saying so. I have proof. Also I don't work on bikes but it took me under a half hour to do it myself at home, imagine how fast someone who works on bikes could have done it. Maybe the sales guy should have went out and looked at it instead of looking through a window and guessing. The whole point was customer service, I broke down and had to walk 6 miles home because I didn't get any help, I know 6 miles isn't far but dang try and help somebody out, geez.Yes it was the height of the "Pandemic" no excuse for poor customer communication. I was told 1 week, I had to call you guys weekly for updates, and it took 1 day short of 5 weeks, not ok. And I do remember your salesman telling other customers that their bikes would be ready as I picked up mine, so I helped you out and informed those customers that it would be a little longer, 1 of which I knew and it did take 3 weeks. So basically if you can't deliver on the time frame promised then please adjust the way do business so you can. New UPDATE * it's been a number of years since I have been back in the shop, Tried stopping in today becauce I had a situation and needed a repair. Something a bike shop should be able to accomplish fairly quickly, however just like usual they are still not a very accommodating shop with even less effort to help the situation. Needless to say I left with my bike and walked home the 8 miles. Figured being the only bike shop in town they would be better.....*Brought in my Bike to get the pedal fixed, was told it would take about a week. I'm not a stickler for this I figured a couple days either way no problem. After the 3rd week I call and I'm told they are working on those numbers now, shouldn't be long. That was a Monday, on Saturday I get a call saying that they would have to order a part, be done by end of week. So I call today (Sunday) is my bike done? Read moreStopped in with a flat for my 6th or 7th 700c tube since I purchased this bike from them late October. I really like the bike the staff is knowledgeable just un-accommodating. My bike is my primary transportation and I ride in any and all conditions. So when I stop in for a tube it means I walked the bike there. After being broken down and stranded overnight waiting for the shop to open I ask if I could replace the tube there in the bike (shop). The coldest day in a year, no gloves, the old tube removed and wheel ready to accept the replacement being the primary reasons why I would ask to impose. I was told, “we let you before and can’t continue to allow you to perform repairs, like there was some tally sheet. Before the purchase of this bicycle, my family purchased 3 complete top shelf skateboards. Combine those with the bike and a few odd accessories, it likely brings the total spent to near 1000 dollars in the past few months. To me the customer spending the money, it seems like a good idea to facilitate minor repairs and adjustments. People in the shop means people in the shop purchasing goods. Read moreMy Husband and I started out wanting e bikes. We both found one his was ordered online and here in three weeks.I found an Aventon that I really liked online and back ordered for two months. I also found that Alpine Cycles carried them (one of two stores in Michigan). I called ahead to see if the one I wanted was in stock, yes! It was a 2.5 almost 3 hour drive but I wanted to see it, try the fit etc. I went to "look" and bought that day. 😍No pressure from sales, just really liked the bike and the one I wanted (s/m size and right color was there) it was the older model but I could ride it and take it home THAT DAY! When the upgraded throttle comes in, I'll take it in for the upgrade. Since we drove that distance they put my bike together while we went to lunch. Customer service is exceptional. Staff went over and above, and I love my new ebike! Same price as online and they work with Aventon on the warranty, I just take my bike to Alpine Cycles if I have an issue.
