Went to McMorran Place in Port Huron for a Port Huron Prowlers hockey game and had an awesome time! It was my first Prowlers game — I went with some friends — and I was really impressed. The team plays hard, and the energy in the arena was electric from start to finish.
The venue itself is excellent. There’s not a bad seat or standing spot in the whole place — every view of the ice was clear, and the sound system made the announcements easy to hear. I grabbed the arena’s beer of choice, Noble Mutt, which was a great pick, and even snagged a souvenir cup to remember the night.
I’ve been to McMorran Place in the past for graduation ceremonies, dance recitals, and local events, but I never realized just how much goes on here. It’s a spacious, well-run venue that’s perfect for sports, concerts, and community events.
If you’re in downtown Port Huron looking for something fun to do, definitely check out a Port Huron Prowlers game at McMorran Place — great atmosphere, great people, and a fantastic...
Read moreVery unprofessional staff. Went to the bathroom bc I got sick from the concessions stand. And when I tried to come back from the bathroom I was screamed at that I couldn’t go back bc “people paid $75 to attend the event “ I let him know I wasn’t feeling okay and I had asked staff for the restroom and where to go and that not only did I pay the $65 for the event but I also paid $65 for both parts of the events and showed my wrist band for artist access as well. I was treated so badly I just went to the car to cry because I was embarrassed and belittled in front of a TON of people and missed the remaining 2 hours of the event I worked all day for and paid to see. Definitely not the experience i drove 4 hours for and put hours of work in to see on the stage and didn’t get to even see it.
The event as a whole was extremely disorganized, staff was extremely rude all around, and nothing like any other professional production I have...
Read moreMcMorran is truly a gem for families seeking wholesome entertainment. With a diverse range of activities including concerts, theater productions, carnival events, hockey games, and even murder mystery dinners, there's something for everyone. Personally, my family and I frequent this venue every few months, whether it's for a fun outing with our son or a memorable date night at one of Werth Productions' murder mystery dinners. What sets McMorran apart is not just its variety but also its affordability. Even with tickets, souvenirs, and concessions for our family of three, we always manage to stay under $150. It's a testament to the value it provides. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great fun at a...
