The Lotus Shack in Port Orchard! So cool ✨✨✨🖤🖤🖤 #pnw #washington #witchy #magic #fyp

Walked in and there was just something off about this store. The vibe was negative. I’m not sure why there are so many good reviews. She was trying to make sure that the customers were using the items they bought, “the right way.” One girl bought a journal and she made sure she was going to use it the “right way” for $75! Overpriced. I could find the crystals I wanted, for larger sizes or the same size for cheaper on Etsy. Owner seemed very full of herself. My mom bought a crystal, my brother was wanting one (or else she wouldn’t have bought it) and had to ask how much it cost. Owner weighed it and then told her $14. Then, she goes “how much did I say again? Don’t want to do back on the computer and see what it said” and she immediately got really awkward and started trying to reassure herself/us that it was just because she needed to look back on the computer but didn’t want to. $14 for one small tower. But when you look at the towers that were marked, they were all the same price regardless of size. A lot of items were not marked with names or prices and I think that’s how she gets you, she’s charging random amounts. AND I saw amethyst that she was letting people think is citrine. I messaged to ask what it was (because I knew it was heat treated amethyst that people try to sell as citrine) and she said it was heat treated amethyst and that some people try to pass it as citrine. So from this, I assume she’s fine with people thinking it’s citrine? Which is why there aren’t any name tags on some crystals. (See pictures and see how one of them looks burnt). A lot of crystals were COATED in gloss. Which I understand but I mean it just felt fake.

I really like this store particularly the tapestries. The shopkeeper was very educated and insightful about the meaning and power of each item. All together I am very impressed, I think perhaps they should expand to knew locations although a 15% price drop wouldn't hurt ;)

Wow. Just wow. This is an amazing store. The owner is so sweet, caring, and knowledgeable. I was on a mission to find my best friend a 26th birthday present. She needed replacement tarot cards because she lost her old decks instruction booklet. She doesn't do tarot often and so it was a big deal she couldn't do tarot anymore.

This store has an AMAZING selection of just about everything and seems to understand people just vibe on different things. There was like a library in the back full of all kinds of books, tarot decks, crafting boxes, wax sealing kits, and more.

Then in the middle was like sages and more earthy tools for crafting. The front was a bunch of good old stones, merchandise, and jewelry. The owner actually knows about what she is talking about. She legitimately cares about all her customers. You can walk in and find your area and just feel like your at home. My favorite was the back of the store. I could stay back there forever and buy so much from there lol.

Everything was reasonably priced, in fact a few things are so cheap I did a double take.

I will be back. This is gonna be a new normal for me. Thank you for the...

This shop has a great selection of raw and polished stones, including uncommon items; however, there is really heavy, erratic energy here. There is always a disturbingly loud TV playing violent stressful content, always. I've never been in the shop when the owner wasn't complaining about a medical problem. It's difficult to safely maneuver through as there are always boxes stacked all over the floor. The overwhelming majority of items are not labeled as to what they are or how much they cost, so it will be a surprise and a very slow process at the cash register. The shop owner has provided inaccurate information about stone identification and composition on several occasions.

If you know what you're looking for and have a good cleansing ritual to perform upon departure with your crystals, this place is likely a worthwhile source for you. If you're seeking restorative moments like many crystal shops provide with quiet calming music, thriving plants, natural light, etc., know that The Lotus Shack is not that. To the contrary, you will need to plan a calming activity to reset your...
