The kid in there named Max I believe , is a great kid and great with customers. Garry, the owner not so much. I’ve been getting custom car audio in all my cars for years.. you get what you pay for. I’ve always went to my 5 star shop in Ocala , Ocala Customs with TJ and they by far are professionals that do professional work. Gary is difficult to work with and doesn’t seem happy when people come back in for any problems. I brought my car in there giving them a chance to re wire my subs that slam !! I didn’t feel like driving an hour and a half to my normal shop and I thought I was getting a cheaper rate. At drop off he said 700$ and It got up to over 1k just installing my subs, more expensive then my normal shop. I get the car back .. my reverse light is stuck on.. I bring it back, he throws his lil fit and says that wasn’t us.. mind you everything was in perfectly order on drop. He said we didn’t mess with those wires.. in which he had to for the reverse cam install. His fix was just to unhook the wire to turn the reverse light off and now I only have one reverse light working. A couple weeks later, I had to bring it back in the shop to adjust the EQ and the bass level. Before that my subs were slamming but at a low volume than normal and was worried I blow them when trying to listen to loud music, so they retuned and said I’m good to go. Days later I became very unhappy with it as the subs were not hitting at all, I had to pull cranky Gary out and there answer was, it’s the car play and Apple Music… MIND YOU THATS ALL I USE… AND THEY ALWAYS SLAMMED. Instead of arguing I just left and plan on spending another 1k to get it rewired correctly. If your doing basic things I’m sure they can do just fine. But if you have certain expectations, find a real custom shop!!! Shoutout to Max tho, he tries his...
Read moreThese guys are pretty much rock stars. We recently transitioned our 3rd vehicle (F-250) into an everyday driver but needed some fresh updates to maximize the daily 60 mile commute for work. I stumbled upon this shop while I was out and about and decided to stop in to have some amps looked at. Not only did the crew immediately make me feel comfortable and listened to, they also took the time to diagnose right then. When the new amps were ready for install, an emergency left only one guy at the shop to maintain. Instead of rescheduling or blowing me off he stretched himself thin to ensure that those amps were installed. During that time he also dealt with an unjustifiably upset customer like a champ and still managed to get my truck done in a reasonable amount of time, the phones answered and kept his cool. We decided to update the head unit as well and get a backup cam installed. Everything went smoothly, pricing was fair, delivery of parts and install was quick and we really could not be happier that we found these guys. Overall, we had an awesome experience, met some really great dudes and big bonus- they...
