4.16.23 A couple of friends and I went for lunch, and the food is just a good - or better - now as it was the first time I ate here. I had the beef in red curry, and man is their curry GOOD! So much flavour packed into that bowl! One friend had vegetarian in peanut sauce and cleaned her plate; the other friend had chicken and shrimp in peanut sauce and was practically ready to pick up the plate and just drink the sauce down! Yes, the food really is that good, and it's consistently good, which is important! Really, if you haven't done so yet, you really should check out this hole-in-the-wall restaurant that has AMAZING food and service! Oh, and get the purple flower tea drink, yum!!

6.30.22 took my mom for lunch, and it was the BEST experience! Mom had red curry chicken, and I had the crispy duck with red curry sauce. AMAZING! even with sauce over the duck, it was crispy and cooked to perfection. Mom's curry chicken was so good she didn't want to stop eating. The food here is so great, I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for great Thai food. Yum!

5-1-22 Yesterday, my friend and I were craving Thai for lunch, and decided at 2:30 to go for some. We went to a very popular place nearby, that I had been to before, but their hours had changed, so they were closed. We quickly pulled up other places nearby, and decided to try this place, and I am VERY HAPPY WE DID! Driving up, it's a hot pink building that doesn't look like much, but once you get inside, the magic starts. It's super CLEAN, bright and airy, quiet without being broody and dark, and so peaceful! Plus it smells wonderful!! They even have a koi pond in the center of the dining room to lend to the air of peace. The atmosphere is only secondary to the food, though. Now, if you like a lot of spice in your curry, you might have to ask for something other than the Red Curry, because there wasn't much spice to it, but the FLAVOR... well that was amazing! I ordered tofu red curry, and I swear, the tofu was house-made, the curry had such depth and just danced on my tongue. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the dish was seasoned very well. The chef should probably do some of those Iron Chef type competitions! My friend had Pad Thai, and that sauce, also, was house made; in fact, both sauces tasted like they had been simmered over several days to get the best flavor. They have very reasonable prices, it was less than $30.00 for both lunches and drinks. I'll definitely be back, probably OFTEN! This restaurant does have delivery and take out ordering, too. I'll try to take pics of their menu for posting. Their address: 7923 U.S. 19 N.,...

We visited Thai Lanna 2 recently, and overall, it was an okay experience. The outside looks a little worn, but the interior is clean, nicely decorated, and feels inviting.

The Tom Kha soup had the right flavor profile, but it seemed like it may have come from a base or been pre-made rather than freshly prepared with traditional ingredients like galangal or kaffir lime leaf. They do offer vegan options, which is a plus.

I ordered the Pad Thai Jay—it had flavor, wasn’t bland, and the presentation was nicely done, but it felt like it was missing a little something that I couldn’t quite identify. My girlfriend enjoyed her red curry, and the heart-shaped brown rice was a nice touch, even with the $3 upcharge. Entrée portions did feel a bit small for the price.

Unfortunately, the papaya salad is pre-made with fish sauce, so it couldn’t be made vegan, and the appetizer options for plant-based diners were limited.

The restaurant was very quiet during our visit—only one person was leaving when we arrived, and no one else came in while we were there. Service was fine, but nothing particularly stood out.

While we likely won’t return, others may have a different experience depending on dietary preferences or...

Went for the first time for a friend's birthday yesterday who was craving Thai. There are many authentic options on the menu to choose from with a variety of drinks with alcohol as well as some non alcohol specialty drinks. I highly recommend the butterfly pea flower drink. Delicious! We got the sampler for the table to try everything. The Crab ragoon was probably the only thing I couldn't really finish due to it having curry seasoning in it. Very interesting taste but not for me. I ordered the basil chicken for my meal, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was nice and tender, and I ordered it with no onions with no issues. So that was much appreciated. Service was quick and sufficient for what seemed to be only one waitress working at the time. 👏👏 Temperature was a little warm when we were there, but what place in Florida isn't right now. I've heard about this Thai restaurant for some time now, and I am glad I gave it a try finally. It was very enjoyable and I will definitely dine here again. Or order as I noticed several take out orders be made while there. Overall, I...
