This location falsely advertises clearance items even ones that are in a box that says clearance on it and a rack. That is how they get you. It stated pro members take extra 50% off but when you pull it from the CLEARANCE RACK they try to get you at checkout. So what they do is put marked down items all in the clearance racks and in the boxes as well and refuse to honor for them falsely advertising these items as clearance. Toby was not so great from the get go and said there were no deals on a list I showed him from another store said they were last weeks then takes my flyer and goes to crumble it up. I get it back. Then admitted oh they are still going on. I am a pro member and we spent over 100 the day before and 129 then and was doing a second transaction of like 30 bucks. I asked for these items to be honored as they were all on the clearance rack and the shirts we dug out a box. He tried to blame customers well customers don't neatly fold them (shirts)and place them in clearance boxes. I want my money back for the items that were to be additional 50% off. In addition he calls another store to ask they said no then calls customer relations and he lowers the volume when they come back. I asked him 5 times to tell them how much I already spent and to honor it as I was already gotten on the first transaction HE IGNORES ME! He seemed mad like he was told to honor it and that I was right then hangs up and starts texting someone after then says oh well they said no. I feel thats a lie he just didn’t want me to be right. You have to provide advertisement price EVEN if they the store made the mistake of putting marked down with clearance. I will make sure I let everyone know how this store robs people and when they catch on like myself they like to blame customers well. Worst customer service ever at GameStop. I have also called customer service and put in a complaint on this location already and I drove 20 minutes to even get there! I will continue my business at country side or at the Trinity location. This location was...
Read moreI came to this location to trade in some old Xbox’s and purchase a brand new one for my sons birthday. Upon reaching the counter I was greeted by a girl named Megan. I explained why I was there and wanted to trade the devices with cords in. She told me that because I didn’t have a controller, that wasn’t possible. I knew that was false because I read everything online with the prices and what you needed. I asked to speak to a manager and she rolled her eyes and gave a huge sigh like I am inconveniencing her. She calls the manager who’s name is Mike and he tells her that it is in fact allowed followed with a fee for not having the controller. I bring up the online trade in page on the website and show her exactly how it says “console only”, and she told me it didn’t matter, that she has to deduct $18 from each device trade in. I tell her to call her manager back, again, huge sigh and full of attitude, she puts the manager on the phone and he tells me that what is online, and what corporate says isn’t true. That they charge a “defective fee”. I repeated myself in hopes I possibly heard him wrong, and again he said corporate and the website are false!! Because it was my sons birthday and he was present at the time of this incident, I decided to handle it with corporate after my purchase. So as we begin checking out, Megan starts asking for a drivers license, sign here, and attempts to take a finger print without telling us why. Which is super weird! I asked why, and she said because Florida is a pawn state. Probably should have mentioned that before asking for personal info. Stay away from here! This is what is wrong with America, everyone wants a job, but no one wants to do the job just the bare minimum. Avoid this scam...
Read moreExtremely dissatisfied with #GameStop and Customer Service, and they've made it clear to me that I will never be ordering from their website or buying from their stores again due to the consistent uncooperative ways, they don't listen to customers, nor do they care. I Pre-ordered an item off of GameStop's website that is the Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku thinking I would receive a pristine collector's item as should be expected only for it take TWO months after release to deliver, once receiving the box it shipped in my expectations were low and I had a bad feeling hen opening it I found that my figures box, which to most of the people that collect these figures are collector's items that should be kept in pristine condition, was damaged and not what I was expecting at all, only for me to contact Gamestop through email and complain about the damage that my item has received. only for them to respond to my messages multiple times ignoring my messages telling me to send the item back when at that point I was fed up and I wanted a full refund without sending it back because obviously, it's not what I paid for, eventually I got tired of dealing with GameStop's horrible customer service through email so Ig tried to contact them directly which I was none the wiser to find they had no concern for the damaged item and told me to either one return said item and get the full refund after waiting 2 weeks or wait 2 weeks and another 2 months to receive another figure that would probably come in just as damaged because they don't care for the shipping part of that process, they've refused to work with me and have disrespected me on multiple occasions by ignoring my messages...
