Happier now. Not sure what changed. The wood quality and price is BETTER than the competition. Inventory is better. Some prices seem much more in line. I am trying to support you. Previous experience From really high prices to trying to return items. Today. I honestly lost my receipt. From a week ago. They keep an electronic record. Just like Menards. Nope. Big freaking deal. Why did I return it? Well. I found more wrong. Needed a lot more parts that you did not stock. I bought a flu pipe for $12 at Do it. Menards was under $5.00. I needed 4 pipes plus a bunch of extra parts. My savings was likely $75.00! At Menards. Sorry! I try to support local business. High temp sealer. $13....

We went in to Portage Do-It Center and they were open (9-5 on a Sunday!!) and the staff was SOOOOO helpful!! My friend and I went into buy stain for a deck and we were completely at a lost! Well, Donna in the paint/stain area went above and beyond to help us!! She had amazing recommendations and tips to help us get the job done! We are currently staining and the quality and color of the stain is amazing!! We went to check out and Kay at the front counter was so pleasant, saved us 10% at checking out which was about $18 AND walked us out to fill our car!! Great staff and product, thank you...

Normally have never had any issues with this place, other than high prices but it’s whatever. I went to do a UPS drop off and they don’t take QR codes, which isn’t that big of deal, it’s inconvenient but not why I’m leaving this review. The guy at the customer service desk was extremely condescending and rude. I told him I had a QR code and he goes “I’m sure you do but we don’t take them.” And points to the memo.
