This was a really weird and bad experience. First, this place is CASH ONLY and has a $2.25 charge ATM. At no point does anyone bother to mention that. We walk in and were told to sit wherever we wanted, which is fine except there was only one table available, so that's where we sat. The waitress asked if we wanted menus, which I thought was odd since we were at a restaurant. We asked the waitress about the broccoli bites and she told us she was new and didn't know anything about them. Being new is fine, but shouldn't they train their waitstaff? We then asked if they were fried and a different waitress told us yes. They came out quickly and were good. Unfortunately, they had bacon in them, and my wife is a vegetarian and couldn't eat them. We asked the (not new) waitress what was in them and she said "Why?" I told her my wife doesn't eat meat, is there bacon in them? She said, "yeah, why doesn't she eat meat?" I said because she's vegetarian and she told us that some of the broccoli bites don't have bacon, you just never know. In a perfect world, she would have offered us a different appetizer at a discount, but instead blamed the new girl for being new and not knowing. The pizzas came out fairly quickly and the crust and cheese were good. The shrimp was not good, I'm not sure why they offer a shrimp pizza. We got our bill and it was wrong, apparently the not new waitress "couldn't find the shrimp pizza button" so she just added $1.95 to the cost of a pizza, which was more expensive then the pizza was advertised. I told her and she updated it to take $.50 off. I guess that's fine too, but that's also when we found out this place is cash only. So we had to use the ATM and get charged a fee. Instead of paying a fee to the credit card companies, this place charges a fee to their customers. I paid at the bar and got 5s and a 1 and some change, so I had to leave a very bad tip. The bad service was not worth a 20% tip. It was at the bar we noticed the people cooking weren't wearing gloves. I would never visit this place again.
TLDR: terrible service, unsanitary cooks, cash only,...
Read moreI've eaten a lot of pizza over the years and this place is definitely in my top 10 places. From the outside I was a little hesitant, but the parking lot was full ( which is always a good sign ) and it had one of the best ratings so I figured why not? I was with my wife and three kids and another family of 4. The place inside was all full but we were seated by a friendly waitress who directed us to a room on the side. Between both our families we ordered two large 15 inch pizza's, one grilled cheese sandwich and two burgers. The waitress said that their beef was ground fresh daily and that the pizza would take longer to get because they make the dough fresh. She was very proud of those facts. I have to say after the food came, and I bit into that burger, I was blown away at how good it was. The burger was a home style type but the flavor was perfect. It was juicy - not over cooked or under cooked and the cheese with crispy bacon- wow!! My wife's cousin Pete and I kept saying this awesome! And the pizza was equally as good. I tried a slice of the pepperoni and my only regret was that I didn't order another pizza. The prices were very reasonable. When the waitress came to see if we wanted to take anything home I said " no " because we ate everything. I have never had this happen with three finicky kids. I have and always will be a "foody". My wife and I love to cook. I HIGHLY recommend this place if your ever in the area. Sorry this is so long but if you have never tried this place -...
Read moreThe service and food is going down hill. This is the second time in less than 10 days we’ve experienced poor atmosphere. One waitress takes your order and then is gone until she brings your food. Then the food you receive isn’t the food you ordered. She gave that to another table. Thank goodness the guy didn’t like onions and wasn’t allergic. She took off our son’s chili for the mix up???? Then today we were on a time crunch. We had 45 minutes before our son had to be to work and another disrespect waitress took another tables order and submitted it before ours. We ordered pizza. She brought out plates and passed them out I stacked them up because we didn’t have a lot of room and the response was “oh you aren’t using plates then?” Really? It took 45 minutes to get our food and she had two tables and I didn’t want to sit with plates at our elbows. Then we go to leave and a blonde girl behind the bar said “sorry the frustration gets the best of you sometimes.” Really? We will not be supporting your business. We don’t go out to eat to be treated like garbage. They need someone that cares about their business and is a responsible adult with good work ethic because food shouldn’t be that different in...
