Frost Dragon Market — Local services in Portage

My wife and I were doing some shopping around Portage and we saw this store. I was a little nervous to go in, but I'm glad I did.

This game store carries a nice variety of board games, tabletop RPG merchandise, Warhammer supplies, and trading card games.

I was chit chatting with an employee who was friends of the owner and he was very friendly and helpful. He gave product recommendations without being insistent. And we talked back and forth about magic sets and goings-on at the shop.

I came back again a few days later and I'm pretty sure the owners were working. The shyness bug hit me so I didn't get to converse like I wanted to, but they were also, unsurprisingly also very helpful and didn't make me feel rushed.

Anyways, I hope this game store is a big success. I wish I lived closer, I'd be able to...

An absolutely delightful shop and staff. Was passing through Portage on my drive home from a work trip and decided to stop in. Amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff. From incense and candles, to mini figures and paints, to board and tabletop games, Pokémon and Magic the Gathering packs, decks and singles. They even carry jigsaw puzzles and LEGO sets. If I'm back in town, I will surely stop in again....
