Kazoo Audio — Local services in Portage

Walked in to the shop to purchase a new audio and video system for our home. A wonderful gentleman named Elijah waited on us and took time to show us some of the systems on the floor. He explained he was not one of the sales personnel, but would assist us the best he could, until he had to leave. So he informed the other two people in the showroom, we were waiting. We waited and waited, not even being acknowledged by the other two individuals!!! We waited some more, listening to the small talk these people were having with the customers who had been helped before our arrival. I can understand being busy. I can understand being understaffed. I cannot however, understand how sales people can ignore customers, who are obviously ready to purchase product, by standing around talking about anything but the equipment or the sale, and not even reaching out to us to acknowledge our presence, while we waited patiently for 45 minutes??? I believe in keeping my purchases local, from local businesses. This location even has a sticker in the front window, stating they're members in the "Local Kalamazoo Business Association!" So in essence this establishment has lost a $10,000.00-20,000.00 sale. My money will spend very well...
